Took Flixbus to go from Budapest (Hungary) to Krakow and then come back later. It was by night and it was really affordable to me and clean. I wonder if you have that type of transport in the US but it’s really cool
Public transportation in the US is sooooo different. It's not like in Europe. I found out that Flixbus exists in the US but I've never heard of a friend taking it. In NYC taking the subway is common, but in CA for example, it's not common. Most people drive or take ride share because they don't feel safe using public transportation. Unfortunately in states like CA, crime on public transportation has greatly increased recently :(
@@DaniWalkerI been taking the bus from Maine to nc for years now never notice anyone taking anything or advantage of anyone in New York City bus terminal it’s just good to know your ps and qs is all and be well aware of your surroundings and make friends along the way oh yeah greyhound runs the flixbus bc you can get flixbus tickets but greyhound will be taking you just expect long waits if ya traveling and I wasn’t gonna go greyhound again bc of what happened two years ago I do t know if the driver shortage during covid has gotten over but it’s must have improved
I took Flix Bus from Los Angeles to San Diego in December of 2017 when I didn’t have a car 🚘. Booking was really easy like you mentioned in the video, the bus was comfortable, on time, and not crowded. It took 3 and a half hours to get to San Diego and my cousin picked me up. My luggage was under the bus and my ticket was in my email. It was easier than I thought. The Wi-Fi was spotty also I agree. I had two seats with no reserved seating and two outlets. Overall, it was a good trip. Just take some snacks, drinks and a jacket.
I am planning to book from Rome to Venice however it is the last available bus for the day. Do you know if it gets cancelled as well as I won’t be having any other option if it gets cancelled.
What is the bus transfer like? Do they have a special area to keep persons who are being transfered? Especially if it's 5 hours long at 2am or 3am till 7am or 8am?
@DaniWalker I'm thinking about doing a transfer in the am at Antwerp Rooseveltplaats. Is it even safe at those hours for a solo female traveler heading to Luxembourg?🥹 Have you ever done that route?
@@roxyluxurybarbie934 I haven’t but I’d check it out on google first then see if there’s anything around the area that’s open late. Like a bar you could at least sit in.
You load your suitcase under the bus before you board, but you do have an option to purchase the seat next to you if you don't want to sit beside someone.
Well, i have funny question. Im boarding on bus in Czechia. The bus is going from Poland, so should i talk to the driver in Czech or English? Because i don't speak Polish.
Have never heard of Flixbus before but that is likely because I haven't traveled outside of the Americas. (I actually thought it was a moving movie theater; you know, a flick (perhaps I'm showing my age).) Nice to know that there is a convenient way to travel other than train when visiting Europe and surrounding areas.
I don't have any questions, but I do want to help you to improve your vlog. For me there was not enough imagery and too much narration. It is said that a picture tells a thousand words - they show elements that may be more important to the viewer than they are to the narrator. I would have liked to have seen images/footage of the interior and exterior of the bus, demonstrating all those elements that a traveller may want to know about i.e. leg room, luggage storage, baby change facilities, movies being shown or not, tables or not, bicycle storage or not, even an image of the washroom and it's location would have been helpful etc. etc. Images often resonate more with people than words so, but overall a good effort.
This company is completely garbage. My bf was travelling to Buffalo airport from Toronto and the bus broke down at the US-Canadian border. This company hired clowns as customer service representatives who hung up on her when she called and refused to give her a refund. She had to spend almost $100 for Uber to the airport and had to pay extra to move her flight. I did my research and heard this is quite common with flix as well as peoples luggages getting stolen and unsafe drivers. I have encouraged her to file a law suit as they left her stranded in the middle of nowhere and she missed her flight. I pray everyday this trash company goes out of business
Be careful this company is not very serious. I wasn't able to use my tickets because of demonstrations that blocked the roads and they didn't want to refund me. Read all the negative messages on this company before using it.

Where does flexibus stop in Dallas,Tx
Not sure, but you can download their app to view stops :)
Do you know if you are able to bring a large suitcase and buy the extra seat next to you and put the bag there?
You load your suitcase under the bus before you board, but you do have an option to purchase the seat next to you if you don't want to sit beside someone.
If not reserving a seat, will the system assign you a seat? Or you can sit on any available seat?
You can sit in any seat it’s operated by greyhound
