@@yakkaboy Man, that's what it looks like to me too, but I never would've guessed they would be in that area.

@@theangriestangler I have a video that shows a sturgeon in the lake! I didn't see it in real-time but my gopro caught it! I would've NEVER believed they were in there. Oddly enough, it almost looks differently than gulf sturgeons so I am not sure lol!

Awesome time for the scenic rivers now, low and super clear. Looking forward to the camping trip :)

I was amazed with how nice it was out there. Felt like I was in another state.
I'm hoping to camp in the marsh this upcoming weekend if weather is good, and then I'll be camping here next!

@@theangriestangler Louisiana has a few scenic river and creeks like this, just most people don't fish them! North Louisiana has some very nice creeks near Alexandria in that state forest.

@@LouisianaBlackwaterFlyFishing I'm hoping to catch some bigger fish once I float through some of the less pressured parts of the river!

Love those spotted bass in the creeks. Usually always are willing to bite and fight hard. Great video!

That was a very good video!
Hope it gets lots of views.
Great to experience new areas and a new style of fishing. Well done.
I did a little river fishing in Virginia when I lived there - smallmouth bass and some pretty good moving water. Fun and challenging.
Might have to try that up around the Pontchartrain area soon.
Keep it up and good luck ahead!
Meanwhile I’m trying a new area in SE Texas and loving it!! Some good success.
    Cheers!

Thanks man! Definitely a change of pace from my norm, but I need to get back on the redfish soon. I hear this is one of the best times of year for them. I'd say you should try it out!
You have been fishing some awesome areas for redfish and specs - makes me wanna get a popup camper!
