- Here is my first review of a Mini-Art kit. This is the quite small T-70M which is a rebox from 2006. Plastic looks a little rough but the detail seems ok.
always liked miniart stuff :)
+Hamilkar Barkas I'm very curious to see how they go together
Looks like a nice kit. Can't wait to see it built
Well done, thanks!!! Was thinking about purchasing this kit, now I think I will...
Nice review. A lot of good info.
+60sGarageLover88 Thanks.
Being from the Phoenix area, is hard to look at something on the computer screen , instead of seeing it already built by somebody and sitting on a shelf at the local hobby shop; which it used to be a bunch of them before, but now this place looks like a ghost town as far as a decent hobby shop where you could walk and browse around for new products......(sorry), I forgot Andy's Hobby HQ...beyond that, this place is a dump...!!! I like your builds a lot...thank you.
I built this (or the one with the five tankers in winter clothing), went together no problems and I really like the way it turned out (I have it posted on ISM under my member profile).
Nice review. I have been meaning to pick up a Mini Art kit. They have some intriguing products.
+Shawn Streeter The most interesting to me was the Panzer IIIs, and I have one of them. About 1000 parts though, so if they don't go together well that will be a nightmare.
+Adam Mann I have the kit with the US MP's (two motorcycles) which I am going to get started on soon. Looks pretty straightforward. I will say that I have a few older MiniArt figure kits and they are hit or miss. Anyway, looking forward to the next video. Keep up the good work.
good review Adam , that "jack" was the machine gun with the "disc" mag :-) . MiniArt kits are quite good, I would say far better than Zvezda kits , and they come with extra stuff like seperate link tracks and pe...thanx for the review bud 👍
+Panzerbuilder Thanks, you know I noticed that while I was editing. Thinking to myself "that's a gun stupid".
just got the german capture version but sadly doesnt come with any of the pe and the instructions are in colour and with reference photos but the instructions themself are less detailed , also the tracks come completely differently
Very good review! I like this kit somehow. The imperfections remind of my beginnings in modelling. There was no such thing as a perfect kit, there was no PE (while here is), there was nothing at all. You had to fight your way through the build. Scratch detailing was all we had. Sometimes I miss these days. Actually quite often. I'm hopelessly old school. Take care. Jens
+Non-Prolific 1/35th Scale Model Builder Thank you. If you're in to those kind of builds the great thing about modeling is they still exist. When I was at a show in Chicago last month I saw tons of old kits. I think they'll always be there to build if people want to.
Yes, I think so. Just take a look at my stash. There are mainly "primitive" kits. :)
Thanks for the review Adam. Moulding looks nice and not a crazily high part count like some of their truck kits.
+Armour Empire yeah it's a very simple kit.
You are the best
+glen-ross mullen Thank you.
Beware of the suspention :) I got no answer what the special edition was, looks exactly like their old kits? I still like them the plastic is soft and a bit flashy but they got better in newer models.
Hello, thanks for posting, hope the fitform is good of this model, the valentine is a pain in the a....ss
Just added my second Tiger video.
+Tony Quinn I'll check it out.
Great review ! Not my thing but the review was great. Just posted my first video on back dated Rye Field Tiger I DAK.
+Tony Quinn It's not really my thing either Tony, I review what they send me. Stuff like Tigers on the other hand are my thing. Your Tiger looks great, far more controlled and tidy work than I do.
cool but. some troubling things on that kit. they seemed to have missed on the injection of the suspension, you can see threw them on one side. can be fixed or hidden. anyway, that's why your awesome thanks for the review.
+Clayton McClain Thanks. I didn't see that. I'll look a little closer.
+Clayton McClain I just built that particular one and I never saw that either. Strange.
+Adam Mann
it's not that big of a deal, unless you look under the kit. however if they short change their molds of plastic on some parts, it could happen on other parts. you just have to look, I even had their gun barrel shorten on one side, replaced with metal anyway. but that's what I've received from miniart kits, but you'll get some who build one kit, and say stuff out of the lack of knowledge. just be careful, love your reviews Adammann. you save money and time, awesome.
Clayton McClain
I'll keep an eye out. Thanks very much Clayton.
