Thank you so much for the reactions! I've been listening to K-Pop since 2008 and I can confidently say that ONF is one of those groups that have a very distinct sound from the usual K-Pop. They have a lot of structurally interesting songs that I think you would appreciate! If you guys have time, you can listen to _Asteroid, Yayaya,_ and _Fly Me to the Moon,_ these have amazing arrangements.

the composer did a very good job of making "moscow moscow" actually sound like an old russian/soviet song. when i first heard it, it sounded so familiar to me, as if i'd heard it before. it always makes me nostalgic for all those televised new year's eve concerts with old russian pop stars i would watch as a child. i can't put a finger on what exactly makes it sound "russian", but i find that a lot of heize's songs have that feel to them too (songs like "diary" and "first sight" for example). as always, thank you for your hard work🤍
that's what i said when i first heard it ! they managed to make it sound (eastern-)european somehow, and being european myself i was honestly impressed. this song reminds me of my trip to poland, there were a lot of musicians playing traditional music on the streets of krakow which sounded eerily similar to this...
the eastern european sound yes... also i dont speak any slavic languages so i have this impression as an outsider but it feels like the raps delivery kinda sounded like russian speech, i found that interesting

I keep replaying the part when they praised MK’s voice. His voice is really one of a kind. Sad that people are 50/50 about it but being complimented here, i dont care anymore. Many composers and now even classical musicians like his voice.

I am Polish and it definitely gives me that old Eastern European song feel. Like an old lullaby my grandmother sung to me.

This reminds me of the soviet cartoon "Верните Рекса". Taking into account that the cartoon is hella sad, I feel this vibe in the song, and it gives me some nostalgic feeling, which I cannot explain.
