Leading the Leaders -- Mark Piland

Much is written in the fire service about first line leadership but little is discussed about the principles necessary to lead those who are in the top leadership positions in your organization. This session discusses the art of leading senior officials who are responsible for leading others as well as discussing "Piland's three legged stool of leadership."
Chief Piland has been in the fire service for over 34 years and is currently the Fire Chief of Frisco, TX Fire Department.
