- Hannah has planted a diverse range of plants in her garden to create habitat and provide food for a wide range of animals. But while there are plenty of birds, insects and retiles in her garden, there is one creature missing - frogs. So she’s planning a pond to cater for them, too. Subscribe 🔔 ab.co/GA-subscribe

I LOVE FROGS
Ribbit ! 🐸
🐸
This was perfect timing, just planning my frog pond. 🐸🐸🐸
Meant to be! Hope we could help😃
Me too, but I am worried about attracting redbellies.
Who else thought she was making a pond next to that boggy brown swamp behind and then realised it was a Retaining wall 😂
Me!😅
I generally use a small length of Soaker Hose connected to a Fish Tank Air Pump, dropped in the bottom of the Pond to keep it Aerated, cheap & simple technique
It would be nice to see something about building a frog pond in cane toad country.
We will need a follow up video, please! :)
Awesome
Snakes LOVE ponds 🐍
Ponds can be attractive to snakes, so it's worth doing some research about snake safety if they are in your garden.
Some tips: keep paths clear so you can see snakes, be careful when moving through dense grasses or shrubbery, avoid attracting prey such as rats, and be extra mindful in warm weather.
@@GardeningAustralia and don't build a pond 🤣
💙✌🏼
Were is part 2? I want to see the frogs.
a small island gives frogs a safer space to avoid birds and cats
Hey 😀
how can we when the local councils turn up claiming we need permits or a license for this kind of thing ?…
you do know you can’t have anything on your own land without permission these days 😅
Nice pond, using weed plants not so good
