Such an informative video as always. I have recently been very tanned so this is the perfect video and perfectly curated routine I am gonna follow now Thanks a ton!!! ❤️ Giveaway contest answers :- ✨ 1). The common thing between Glycolic Acid and lactic acid is that they're both AHAs(Alpha hydroxy acid) which means they both exfoliate the top layer of our ask and are water soluble. Glycolic Acid has smaller molecular size hence it penetrates deeper as compared to lactic acid that is bigger. Glycolic Acid is usually recommended for people with oily skin and lactic is recommended for people with dry/sensitive skin as it's also a hydrating for the skin unlike Glycolic Acid. They both can be used to get rid of mild fine lines and brighten the skin. ✨ 2). The common thing between Alpha Arbutin and Kojic Acid is that both are tyrosine inhibitors meaning they reduce the activity of enzyme tyrosinase which in turn reduces the production of melanin which is responsible for the pigmentation of our skin. Alpha Arbutin is a precursor to Hydroquinone(HQ). HQ can be a lil irritating and risky if not used cautiously and also requires break every 3 months or so but Alpha Arbutin is very skin friendly, we don't need to take breaks from it and can use it regularly. Kojic Acid is also a very powerful skin lightening agent. It can be a lil irritating for skin of colour hence Kojic Acid Dipalmitate is often preferred as it's equally as effective with zero irritation. Glycolic acid also helps build more collagen. 🤍🌼 (Mumbai,India)
