Prayer is so essential in a Christian marriage. What my wife and I did was we started praying together while we were dating, and it was very helpful because it kept us accountable to one another. What happens with newly married couples is they have a difficult time praying together maybe because they never did while dating. I believe that when you start a healthy spiritual walk while dating it will definitely help the marriage.

This is the best thing a married couple can do together. My most cherished moments are when my husband and I pray together. It's such an incredible and unexplainable feeling.
God bless you all at XO Marriage 💝

Hello, I reslly enjoyed this podcast on praying together in marriage. What a true blessing. My husband and I pray together, but what if in others people's marriages one spouse wants to pray together but the other spouse doesn't?

If one spouse doesn't want to pray, I believe the spouse that is willing to pray should always invite the other spouse to pray with them. However, if the spouse chooses not to pray, continue praying individually. For the spouse praying individually, continue praying for the other spouse to come and join him/her in prayer. Most of all don't lose hope, keep the faith and continue to believe. As Jesus said in the Bible, If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes. -Mark 9:23 🙏🏿💕

I love listening to yall. And yall always have so much great advice. I wanted to ask if yall can post a website for marriage counseling or intensive marriage counseling (Christian) ??? My husband and I just moved to Texas but there was a major thing before we moved here for the military and we want to seek council ingredients for people like yall.

Must be nice to be married and focus on things like dating and romance.
Some single people have to wait decades for this, some never have it? And the Church still tells them ‘be patient’ ‘stop being picky’ ‘you just need to put yourself out there’ ‘stop worrying about marriage (even though you’ve been waiting decades and want to carry your children naturally).
It’s always the single person’s fault that God didn’t bring them a suitable potential spouse. They didn’t ask for a soulmate, they just asked for an option.
Like the married people who show off about God bringing them their spouse. They show off their lives, that’s fine. Single people just admit to wanting marriage and children, and they’re accused of idolatry.
Told to serve, as if they aren’t already doing that. Meanwhile married people spend less time serving by and think they’re superior and get to judge and instruct single people who spend more time with God.

I would ask someone in the church you trust to counsel you through these feelings.
