I believe this story 100%. I nearly drowned when I was about five. Before I blacked out, I was thinking, "This is how I'm gonna die, I'm gonna drown!"
Shortly thereafter, I felt like a feather in the wind. I remember the feeling of descending towards the bottom of the pool and thinking of myself in the third person. I remember thinking, "That poor little boy, he's going to drown."
Since that day, I have had a sincere feeling that this is not the end of the road.
Then, when I was in the seventh grade, my grandmother took me to the hospital to see my grandfather. I had been raised by them since the second grade and I missed him. He had lung disease and had been in the hospital for a few weeks. He sounded strange that night. Things he would say did not sound like him and did not make sense. Just strange. He asked for clergy, which in and of itself, was strange for him. He was not too religious.
Well, he chewed me out a little bit that night, about the disrespectful way I had recently talked to him and informed me that he was going to buy me "a brand new Schwinn bicycle" but in light of the way I had recently acted, he was no longer going to. I remember being emotionally torn up over that. Not because I wasn't getting a new bike, but because he was upset with me. The next morning, during science class, I heard my grandpa's voice. It was as loud as if he were standing next to me. He said, "Sean! Oh Sean! I'm alright Sean, I'm alright!"
I turned immediately to the clock, it was 10:20 am, and asked my best friend Mike, "Did you hear that? Did you hear my Grandpa?" He laughed and said, "No, I didn't hear anything." I got up and went to the window and looked all around but could not see grandpa. I knew he was there somewhere because I had just heard him with my own ears! I thought, "They must have brought him here in a wheelchair to see me!"
That was not the case. After class, I left school for the day and made the five mile walk home. When I got there, nobody was home and I figured grandma was visiting him at the hospital. So I took my rifle outside (we lived on a farm) to do some shooting. Then at 1:00 I got an overwhelming feeling of Grandpa! I didn't know why, but it was all over me. Well, at about 2:30, my dad's car came pulling into the driveway and dad was driving. My dad didn't miss work, so that was strange. My stepmom was in the back seat, which I thought was weird, and grandma was up in the front. After they came in, my dad told me to come sit down because he had something to tell me. He, said, "At 10:20 this morning, your Grandpa lapsed into a coma, and at 1:00 this afternoon, he passed away."
It gave me goosebumps into my forty's to tell that story, but since then I have seen so much that it doesn't phase me like that anymore. I've nearly been killed several times during my career in heavy construction (twice in Yosemite National Park alone), and afterwards, I knew he was watching over me.
This is not the end of the road.🙏

I'm almost 76, but I've had at least 4 moments where I almost died. 2 x almost drowned, had meningitis and several motorcycle accidents. I think I am blessed with Angels around me.. I may have some tasks to do.

I had mystical experiences in the 1980s. I did not have a near death experience... I just meditated naturally, and began to have experiences. It is wonderfully encouraging that so many of these people that have had near death experiences are verifying my lessons from the Divine. I need this right now, a little push to understand I am not alone.. I suffer from self doubt and a lack of self confidence and it is time for me to finish writing the novels I began in the1980s. The Soul is immortal and does not die. The ONE is all and the ALL is one. Everyone who is sharing their experiences... thank you.
She is speaking 1000% truth. I used to be very skeptical of OBEs/NDEs until I had 2 experiences myself whereby I separated from my body and saw things from a distance. In fact I was able to fly over a field and managed to fly down to some horses who recognised me and ran away scared. It was no illusion. It felt way more real than my current waking reality.
So my theory is mind/consciousness is not produced by brain and that consciousness cannot possibly die.

I totally agree. Dr Bruce Greyson of the University of Virginia, Medical Division has been studying NDE's for many years and has written a brilliant book called After stating his findings that consciousness can be separate from the brain. I do love it that now some scientists are catching up. He was a total skeptic until his own research led him to believe otherwise So what you say is so true. 😊
After my brother died from cancer, his son did very very well in his examination. That made me very happy and late in the night in my room where i was all alone on my bed i whispered 'bablu, ur son achieved the first position in exam' and i swear to god i heard him. he said "yes, I'm here, always with you".

@@jayadsilva67 My father was an atheist and he died for 3-4 minutes in ER also had an out of body experience when I was 12 years old. When he came home from hospital he told my mother there is a God! He asked her to buy him a Bible and he started reading it. So it is true. What you do on this earth matters, that is a fact.
I had a very short NDE experience but I can attest that I felt no emotion except calmness and peace. I clearly remember I could see the doctors panicking and speaking to each other but I was completely peaceful watching them.
Her knowing that her Mom’s brother passed away before her mother called her is familiar to me. I’ve also had family members that passed away and I knew it before anyone in the family called me to let me know they had passed away. My Dad asked me how I knew that and I said I saw them the day they actually passed away. Faith is very important and very powerful and we all have it. Rely on your faith and stay out of the world and it’s ways as much as you can and that will make your faith stronger

I wish I could know that my husband is safe and happy. He passed a year ago and I can't find any peace
After my father's death I went through a lot of depression. Than three months go by and I have a dream. I find my father in the lobby of a building. He's looking old and has a little trouble getting out of the chair. But he's able to get up and we start walking together. I tell him that I missed talking to him and rambling talking to him. Than we get to a point where there's a flight of stairs. He runs up it with a unusual amount of energy. Than he turns around and he's now looking like he's in his 30's. With light around him. I was shocked. He starts laughing at me because I looked like he did a magic trick. Than he continued on up the stairs and he was gone. We live on and meet our family and friends on the other side. Your husband is there and when we're done we'll join them.💕.
I hope you find some good dreams that give you personal understanding that we're not alone.
Generally, you will find your loved ones in the dream. My wife passed away two years back & most of us including my daughters, her students, relatives & loved ones dreamed her in a beautiful garden where the green color is completely different from the earthly one. We are assured that she is in peace. We will meet our beloved ones once we pass to the next world.

I had an out of body experience during the birth of my second child where I was above my body watching myself give birth and the moment my second child was born I came back into my body, the nurses commented to me 'oh you're awake now!' I wondered what they meant as I had seen them either side of me & the doctor at the business end during the whole time I was out of my body. It was the most weird & at the same time amazing experience I've ever had & yes I agree time doesn't exist in that state.

The night before my dad passed I was in the room with him and heard this music three times, the last time it came behind my ear.

What an amazing story! Thanks for sharing! I think that I had an NDE several years ago, but I never left my body. I had an allergic reaction to a Walgreen's version of Aleve (of all things) when we were camping in the Smokies. Within a few minutes, I noticed that I was getting an itchy rash and I told my husband that we had to leave immediately to find some antihistamine (we didn't have any with us). Before we left the Nat'l Park, I had lost my vision, and only saw, bright pure white light but I felt completely calm and at peace (thinking this was it, my time was up, but was totally calm and at peace). I was 5 minutes into Anaphylaxis shock, shallow breathing, some difficulty breathing and still no sight other than the pure, bright white light (like nothing I've seen before). We met an ambulance at Sugarlands Nature Center (just outside of Gatlinburg) and they loaded me up and took me straight to the hospital in Sevierville, TN. They administered an IV and gave me a shot of epinephrine. By the time I got to the ER, I still had not regained my sight, but could make out shadows and movement around me in the white light. I kept asking "why can't I see, what's happened to my vision, why can I only see bright white light" and no one would ever answer me. After several hours, I was released and my vision still was not 100 percent, but I felt so thankful to be alive; The next day my vision was normal and I felt fine.

@Dr. Lotte: Science with Soul it truly did. Although I haven't experienced my own NDE, I have a few really close family members that have died and somehow expressed themselves to me, which has been incredible, but have also experienced a fair few of extraordinary experiences with ghosts unknown to me. These being fine, but scaring the people who's homes we were in that didn't know.
My kids are almost finished school and I have so much passion to explore. I learned reiki when they were born so I could heal them myself, but, I feel I have forgotten my skills with the pressure of life and having to provide, and be a wife.
I'm ready to change my life plan and dreams again now... it's time..

beautiful NDE. I believe that this earthquake must have been the "Landers Quake," that hit in Southern Calif in 1994. I felt this earthquake and it was 75 miles from where I lived. OMG, did we feel it. I thought our house would cave in on us. Wow, Thanks for sharing. 🥰
Yes it was the Landers quake a 7.3 earthquake and we were in the eastern part of Anaheim so basically the town closest to the epicenter! 💕🙏

I wonder the same. I'm 58 now but was 11 when my dad died, 18 when my mum died, my older bother died 8 years ago and my younger sister 3 years ago. I have never truly felt their presence since they passed. I have had a couple of weird things happen but more a case of the brain playing tricks. And because I seldom dream I never have them 'come to me' in my sleep. I have been close to death all my life but have never felt my loved ones spirit once they passed.
This was "her" experience on the other side. Nobody has the same exact experience. It's different for everyone. I've seen so many people tell their stories in a way like they are saying, this is what it is like over there. For them it was, but for others, it most likely will be different.

Awesome experience. Thank you very much. I'm in my early 50's, and have had a very long struggle in one same Computing discipline, in terms of not being given opportunities to progress. After 3 degrees in IT and 35 years of working life, I am still working at a school leaver's level in IT. I don't know what my purpose is in life, after being over half way through life, other than to remain static in a sector after 35 years experience doing the same, performing first class as always. Massive Interpersonal skills, great at my job and always have been (in many worldwide businesses) yet never a promotion ... I wonder what awaits me in the next life ... I believe that there is a God of sorts - not for any one religion, but all encompassing. For some reason, I believe that I have a spirit guide who keeps me safe. - I don't know why.
