- Muhammad Ghori fought two important battles in India, the first battle of Tarain in which he was defeated by Prithviraj Chauhan, and the second battle of Tarain in which he won with the help of the ruler of Kannauj, Jai Chandra.
- Mohammad Ghori defeated Jai Chandra in the battle of Chandavar and became the ruler of India, and he appointed his slave Kutubuddin Aibak as the governor of the provinces he won, which led to fights between the nobility.

Can you give a detailed remark of political stability in India during whole medieval period.
also, as mentioned political stability in India was strong during Qasim (712AD) but in the last lecture you also mentioned political stability was weak in 8th century which allowed Qasim enter subcontinent ----which as got me confused !!
