"Emily Dickinson is one of my favorite poets; I believe I've read all her poems, letters, and writings. I've composed many pieces inspired by her poems, which she called 'my little rooms.'"
This is what Ezio wrote while composing, in just one year, what was meant to become his first multimedia theatrical show dedicated to the great American poetess. The show, much like Emily Dickinson's poems, never saw the light during Bosso's lifetime.
But as happened to the poems of "his" poetess, all published posthumously, the posthumous work of the Bosso family has brought to light and made accessible to all these fifteen unpublished pieces, never before published, only one recorded, a few others very rarely performed live.
This album, preceded by Four Letters, arises from a journey started three years ago to ensure that what Ezio left behind doesn't go lost, but above all can be enjoyed by everyone: there isn't a single heir of Ezio, we all are, and each one can do their part, even by listening for the first time to the music that you will soon have in your hands.
No, Ezio, it's never over... and finally: Emily is Real.
