this series is such a blessing for me, I never thought I'd get to see an amazingly animated version of the Kenpachi fight, Rukia and Renji's Bankai reveal, Mimihagi and the Kamikake or pretty much this whole episode. There's so many things I could sit here and really geek out about - and so much more to come too! But i'll just say that hearing Yhwach say "why can't you say kill to the man who killed your Mother" oh GOD DAMN did they get the intonation and meaning absolutely perfect in it!
If these were indeed Uryu's true intentions then I wouldn't blame him tbh. Think about it. The so called God of your universe created a world in which you were doomed to suffer for defending yourself from soul erasure.
