Main reason for Traffic jams is Traffic police 🚔 who manipulate the timer ⏲️ of signals. If they're not there, signals operates properly & no Traffic jams.
We face same problem in Chennai city also. For example if you enter Anna Nagar arch signal, when the signal is green, if you travel at about 40 km speed, you will get all green signals upto Chennai Central railway station. This was possible with the help of experts from IIT Madras. But the traffic constables most of them had never traveled in busy city roads, manually operate them, causing unnecessary traffic jams. I hope the Chennai traffic commissioner's office would look into this.
Govt has money to burn it on building upgradation because it can earn kickbacks but it doesn’t have money for maintenance of the infra nor for technology to instil lane discipline. Its looks all rosy from above but this kalamboli junction goes to pit every monsoon. Govt cant keep the roads muck free either. Only build build build infra to earn kickbacks
To The Authorities: Making and putting into operation such mega projects for Road Infrastructure are praiseworthy but it should be always in mind that you are making these projects to ease the traffic jams and to make grueling driving of long routes short for users. And for that the user has to be informed of the new road / bridge arms well in advance by installing Direction Sign Boards of International Standard. It has been months since the Chedda Nagar-Santacruz Link Road Bridge has been opened and there is still no Sign Board for the two Arms of the Bridge (one to Santacruz another to BKC) for drivers/users coming from Chedda Nagar and on my first trip to Santacruz instead of landing at Santacruz, I landed at BKC! then you know how much long and traffic it is from there to Santacruz through WEH. There may be 1000s of people like this daily who may be first time users or once in a lifetime Mumbai visits facing this trouble and this carries a bad impression in the minds of these users and it spreads through mouth and medias. Hence my request to the Authorities is that: PLEASE DO NOT OPEN ANY MULTI ARMED ROAD OVER BRIDGES WITHOUT PROPER SIGN BOARDS in place from 01st day.
Mr. Kane, wherever the video shows graphics please also mention the road and direction as is known to the public which will make the audience to relate with their travelling. You are mentioning NH 48 / NH 548, etc., that's Ok but the local public may not know the numbers and also gets confused of the directions in the video and if you mention directions with arrow marks it will be lot more easier for them to navigate through your graphics in the video. @@harshalgawai746 China is closest to us when it comes to availability and cost of labor. They executed projects with this speed even 10 years ago when they were still developing. The only reason we can't do this is because of lack of will from our bureaucrats.

Why this project not started till the date? Very very necessary road and traffic police not ready to perform duty there. They just hides themselves to catch the signals jumpers and collecting bribes. This is rampant in Maharashtra only. Public is so cowered.
