This is one of the best slice of life arcs in the story. There's no major conflicts, just a massive festival with a lot of deal making between nations. And lots of interesting relationship revelations.

Tensura isn’t an action focused anime and I feel like a lot of people forget that.. sure, when there is action; it’s some good action but it’s still more focused on the town-building aspect
And in fact the action is how Rimuru obliterates his enemies because for 3 novels he has been sending false information and the enemies arrive unprepared and Rimuru has like 20 countermeasures on his back and Raphael doing another 20 in the process.
The only arc i remember that has alot of fighting is Tenma War, other arcs are just Primordials flexing their power to mortals or true dragons flexing their power too.
I'm not gonna lie, those like 3-4 episodes of meetings at that one table drove me crazy. I didn't even absorb the information they were giving. Outside of that, I literally do not mind when Slime is a slice of life yap fest.
IMO story would have flowed better one chapter short of meetings on the Rimuru becomes a demon lord arc, just one. The meetings stopped the story. And I think this season they tried to overcompensate for something and they had one too many meetings. Especially when they give you a detailed plan and then you had to see them reenact the meeting plan while they recite the plan.
Here's some info skipped in this episode: - Byakuya Araki was from feudal Japan, and he arrived in the Ogre village 400 years before the beginning of the series. - Byakuya Araki is a Stray Otherworlder like Hinata, but unlike her whose aging stopped as part of the powers she got upon being isekai-ed, Byakuya Araki's body itself didn't get such a buff, but he did still live to be more than 100 years old, as he died around 300 years before the start of the series. - Byakuya Araki didn't simply marry an ogre woman. He saved the ogre village from a rampaging dragon, killing said dragon. He then started living with the ogres and shared his culture with them. THIS is why the Ogres have a Japanese style culture by the time Rimuru met them. (as for why the Tengu have it as well, it is never concretely explained, but I assume that Kaede, as their leader, is the one responsible for their culture being like that now.) - Byakuya Araki married an Ogre woman and had a half-human half-Ogre daughter, who in turn married another Ogre and had a quarter human 3 quarters Ogre son (Hakuro). (this bit is just clarification for the parents of Hakuro) - Ogres in this world have a lifespan about equal to that of humans. They don't normally live more than 100 years. And yet, Hakuro, as a quarter human 3 quarters Ogre, was more than 300 years old when he met Rimuru. Then, when he got named and became a Kijin, his lifespan extended and got physically younger yet was still very old even for a Kijin. It is not fully understood by the people in the series how he managed to live that long beyond the end of his natural lifespan. - Chronology-wise: 1- Kaede started training under Byakuya before his death, then stayed with Hakuro for a bit after Byakuya's death before leaving (while not aware yet that she was pregnant; once she became aware of it and chose to delay the birth of her child, she didn't expect Hakuro to live long enough to ever meet their child nor for them to be together long term). 2- Then, still around 300 years ago, but after Kaede left, a young Gazelle Dwargon met Hakuro and became his disciple. for those who don't know, having children as a spiritual liform (angels, demons, sprits, true dragons...) is a taboo as it will lead to the parent to die from energy lost, and since Kaede is an angel who incarnated as a wolf she is still a spiritual liform, mean while her daughter is a physical liform or half spiritual liform, so she can have babies and be fine.
I never had issue with the 1st half of season 3, maybe they could fix it somewhere, honestly though, I have no idea what could be cut, as I'm sure it all important, and I'm sure some stuff been cut already.
a lot of this stuff is just set up for the big fights that happen in later light novels. how the dungeon works. who get with who and the big meeting for future alliance and betrayal.
The only valid criticism I've seen for it is that they could've made it more interesting to look at. All the information presented was important, but I gotta admit that it does feel like recap for viewers sometimes, so having more interesting visuals accompanying those moments would've been the way. Which they implemented in this half, where the information we learn in what is basically just more meetings has been presented in a much more fun and dynamic way, just look at the conversation between Rimuru and Mjöllmile for example. But aside from that there really wasn't a problem with this season.

If everything was for everyone, then everything would be generic and bland. Slime has a lot of meetings, discussing plans so on. It's not a bad thing, it's how the story goes. I think most of the people complaining about the meetings would've wanted slime to be a more generic action packed story instead of ebracing it for what it is

It may be easy to say this in hindsight after reading all volumes of the LN, but everything does lead somewhere, so if they were to alter something it would really mess with the story. Just imagine they removed the Rosso episode many were complaining about. Next season everyone would complain about how this powerful family just came and started beef out of nowhere
The anime never explains it but in the light novels with the introduction of the ogre's to remember. They explained to rumor how their culture was influenced by a group of samurai warriors who transferred over to this worldWhile they were in a massive battle in futile Japan.
Exactly Tensura is worth watching. If you don't like the meetings, then just watch reaction videos of such episodes. That way you won't be completely clueless and you won't have to watch the entire episode by yourself.

Yes powerful monsters have full control of when they get pregnant and when they give birth ... able to keep the baby basically suspended for as long as they like ... Basically if unless you area much much powerful ... if a female monster does not want ... you cant get her pregnant .... For monsters Might makes Right if you are sufficiently powerful there is no issue with having more than 1 wife ... or a full harem .. ...

About Tengu arc....Momiji', backatory....did some contents got cut or not when it was in anime version??? I read manga last few months ago and it looks to me,the chapter longer. ....I could be wrong or not remember much.
I really didn't like the whole Benimaru-Momiji flashback. Idk, it felt really dumb to me. First, Lamia-girl used some kind of status inducing skill in the middle of a fkin diplomatic meeting (get a hold of yourself goddamn), then Benimaru doesn't actually reprimand her or apologise for it, and THEN Momiji suddenly does a 180 into swooning over Benimaru and wanting to make him fall for her, talking about "a good woman" and whatnot, like huh?! This makes her feel like such a cardboard cutout, some blatant wish fulfilment. I do really want to like her, she's so cute, but come on man!
