When I was young I didn't know my identity. I was lost and hurting from controlling parents and coped through rebellion and seeking the wrong kind of attention from the wrong people and was expelled from high school. Now later in life I know Jesus and my parents know Jesus and so do my children. I now know my identity is hidden in Christ and Im flawless made so by our great and mighty Saviour!

I remember hearing this song for the first time when it came out. I was going through troubles with a breakup, lost a friend, and I was contemplating whether to end it or not. I was in the car with my mom, listening to the radio. "No matter the bumps, no matter the bruises, no matter the scars". When I heard that, I cried like a little. Then I heard the "No matter what they say" line. At that moment, I wept tears of sorrow and joy, for I have been made flawless by Him. Praise the Lord, for He has made you flawless! No matter how much you think no one cares for you, just remember that He cares for you! He has made you flawless, he has made you to be better! Thank the Lord, and may He come once again to bring us all salvation!

Listening to this with my mom and dad at a rehabilitation center, he fell and had neurosurgery. God's grace is with us because He saved my dad's life and He keeps us going, despite all the trials and tribulations we face. When Satan put me on trial a few years back, I felt so deserving of hell. I was ready to sentence myself. The devil accused me of all my sins against God. All I could say to Jesus was that I was guilty as charged. For three days this went on. It was the most frightening thing I went through.
On the last day. I was driving home from work that night at 12 midnight. crying. All I had for my defence was my faith in His cross. I told Jesus that I had nothing but my faith in Him. I then turned on the radio and changed the station to Moody radio and this song was playing. It was the first time I heard it. And when I did, I knew Jesus had found me not guilty. He paid for my sins and the trial ended. I will never go through that one again.
Satan always accuses us to God. And he always accused God to man. But Jesus is our defender and judge. What better position can we be in than to have our lawyer and judge be the same person.
Thank you Jesus for being at our deffence with your cross and all it offers.

This is one of my favorites from MercyMe! This is a classic! I heard this once on the radio and wondered what it was, so I do some research and then my heart melts in happiness. God changes lives, if it's not him then I don't know who it is, but for what I know God is there with you, lifting you from your struggles and restoring your heart and undoing all sins. I grew up never knowing Jesus I was abused and that’s all I really know and remember from my childhood now that I’m grown I wish I knew that broken hearted little girl I use to be. I’d teach her about God’s love❤️
40 years ago my kidneys started failing 15 years ago I went on dialysis 12 years ago my husband divorced me 5 years ago I was diagnosed with shingles of the brain three-and-a-half years ago I broke my ankle lost my job found out I had arthritis in my spine finally got evicted from my apartment moved in with my daughter and my granddaughter my whole life is been so overwhelming when I listen to people's replies about this song my problems seem so small I realize that God uses broken people and makes us all flawless I just feel so humbled if you can watch the series chosen it will change your life

5 years ago My wife and I tried to foster children, but because I am a combat vet, and suffered abuse we were denied. I will be 42 in March still don't have kids, and feeling like God has directed us to a different path. When I was denied I was hit with a depression so bad that I left my job and drove to a gun shop. I was going to end it. Then out of the blue this song came on. It saved my life.

I really like the message of this song. For me I struggle on not feeling good enough. Especially battling a late stage disease that makes people walk away from you. Either due to them not willing to except what I can do or can't do. But, I'm flawless since the cross had made me flawless. We're all flawless and are good enough in God's eyes.
