A song about one of the first layers of hell, limbo. Described as a place where people who weren’t baptized or that where generally lost in direction went. It’s not a bad place, but it’s really somber, this song really feels like being there.

What pedal is Taka using for the squiggly random pitched up/down delay bits

Can you give us a little walk through of how you did it? It’s one of my favorite things Jonny has ever done.
@@kutzkej the real way Jonny did it on the kid a tour was with a Roland re201 space echo and a footswitch connected to the “echo cancel” button. He turns the unit on before he plays the high notes and then turns it off after that. Since it’s a real tape delay, the motor has to start and stop again every time the switch is pressed, which causes the pitch shift. Taka is using an expression pedal on his delay to speed up and slow down the rate parameter to approximate this effect

Great job, though wish you could connect it with your brilliant Optimistic cover. Almost 20 years since Kid A was released. Still by far the best album of this century, the best Radiohead album ever (In Rainbows a good number two), and the second best album of all time (only behind Pet Sounds).
