Hitting harder with the Brass knucks is true it's physics
Maybe I know it feels that way, my point is just that because it's weighted you can hit harder however not as fast. With speed you could have better precision, precision over speed, speed over power. I do also think metal is going to be a bit more damaging however I didn't pull out my favorite pair 😉

Hey man i doubt you have an answer but my favorite knife is my recon tanto in carbon v from the 90s and i cant seem to get a good edge on it btw i use the worksharo guided feild sharpener and soon getting the precision adjust
Get the Professional precision not the regular precision if so. Also you could check out the tsprof clone i did a video on recently it's really good. The problem is most likely just user error in sharpening but it's possible it has a poor heat treatment
