The comment he made at the start about the audience joining in with his song he was being sarcastic. He is performing for them , Its not a pub singalong. It was disrespectful. I think someone in the audience also blew a harp. WTF. Imagine if the audience at an opera did this , they would be shown the door.
I didn't get that impression. He even said, "Where have you been all my life?" I think he was surprised and it threw him off a bit, but I think ultimately he was moved that they knew the words and sang with him.
I think he appreciated the crowd being engaged but then when the person starts playing harmonica he kinda shakes his head indicating to them to stop and then when he starts singing again the crowd applauds cw
