Thanks so much for your fantastic, informative videos! We spent 4 glorious days in Budapest in October 2024 - we watched your content before we arrived last autumn and still watch them now. Budapest easily became our favorite European city, and your videos are always inspiration for when we will next travel to your beautiful city. Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas! All the best from 🇨🇦🍁
Thank you so much for the kind message! We are really happy that you enjoyed your time here and still follow us 😊 I hope you can return someday for more! Happy Holidays! 😊
Every one of your videos makes me miss Hungary more but I'm also glad to get a glimpse it! Not to mention you always show some off the beaten path place to eat or grab coffee or something. Koszonom szepen Akos!
You gave me a great ideo for a video! I am coming to Budapest next week and I really wanted to explore the city one day using the historical trams.. this video is just what I needed for inspiration!
Great video- I liked the concept of using the tram line like a hop on hop off bus. Can't wait until I come next year -I'll be 65 and can ride for free!
Hi neighbors, Greetings from Belgrade, another city on the Danube, just a bit downstream from yours. I just got back yesterday from Budapest, and I have to say-I thoroughly enjoyed the city. It’s absolutely stunning, and I already miss it. You two are delightful-please keep up the amazing work. Wishing you the best of luck and happy holidays! By the way, thanks for the tip about Central Grand Café. I’ll make sure to visit next time I’m in town. The prices I saw on their website were a pleasant surprise-not at all what I expected for a place like that. Cheers!
Thank you so much for the support and the kind end encouraging comment! Happy to hear you enjoyed the city, and I hope you can return soon to try out Central Grand Café and it will live up to your expectations! (I'm sure the brunch certainly will 😊) Happy Holidays!
Szuper x100 🎉
Thank you so much for another interesting video including lovely coffee places. I used tram2 to go to Palace of art last November, which was very handy. Do you know how long the maintenance will last? Because I am likely to visit Budapest again next March.
Hey there! Thanks for the kind message 😊 luckily the maintenance is done now, so the tram runs all the way, although there may be some more maintenance in the future but right now it's all good 😊
We went last week for 5 days !!! I’m so emotional how beautiful the Places Are ! I’m living in Madrid but Budapest Captured my heart !🥹. i hope you do a video of about Ww2 in Budapest 🎉
Thank you for a very informative video, we arrive in your beautiful city on the 22nd December to the 29th. Can you answer my question? We are 70 year olds can we travel free on the trams ?? Thank you again for your videos..
Hey there! Yes the great news is that everyone above 65 years can ride the public transport for free, you'll just need to carry a photo ID to prove the age if asked during an inspection 😉 hope you'll have a lovely time here 😊
Thank you for another great video! I love trams, so it was exactly my cup of tea. Did you register the Lego tram at Deák Ferenc tér? I was hoping to see it, but I couldn't take a vacation. So next year I will plan one of my several Budapest visits also to time before Christmas and I will hope there will be something similarly interesting in the tram world again. But Your "regular" Christmas trams are also great, we also have several Christmas trams and buses in Prague. Wish You a peaceful Christmas!
Hey there! Unfortunately I couldn't visit the Lego tram yet although I love everything that's Lego related, perhaps between a Christmas and New Years I get to see it in person 😊 usually there is something Lego related like some time ago there was a Lego Lion statue which was modeled after the Lion statue at the chain Bridge 😊 Happy Christmas to you too! 🎄😊
Hey there! Unfortunately I don't really have a specific book about the buildings of the City 😔 When I find something interesting I always do research on the internet to find as many perspectives as possible. Like I was traveling a lot along the Rákóczi út and thought that the buildings close to Ajtósi Dürer road looked distinct and interesting so I went down the rabbit whole and read a lot about the area and the individual buildings. Or when I asked myself why is the Palace district called like that, I also had to check multiple websites :) Now I just got a message from another viewer who asked about some of the detailed cupolas/roof ornaments, and will likely go down that rabbit hole as well 😅 I always try to search online about the specific details, but don't know about good books that cover the architectural history unfortunately. If there is anyone out here who has a recommendation, I am more than happy to hear from them 😊
Random question, the watch you are wearing in this video, which brand is it? And are there any good vintage watch shops that you would recommend i Budapest? Thx
Hey there! It's a brand called Kuoe, a Kyoto based Japanese watchmaker. I got it this year and love it 😊 regarding Vintage watch shops in Budapest, I am not very knowledgeable in the topic , but I remembered seeing an antique watch place in the Old Jewish District, I looked it up now it's called 10:10 Antik/Óra, it's address is Budapest, Wesselényi utca 19, 1077. Looks like a good place from the reviews 😊

@@StuffedCabbageAdventures Ah Kuoe, I've seen advertisements for them recently, cool watches. Thank you for bothering to look up watchshops for me :)
