"La Catedral" (Agustín Pío Barrios 1885-1944) está considerada su obra maestra. Consta de tres movimientos: “Andante Religioso” y “Allegro Solemne”, compuestos en 1921 y un tercero, el “Preludio” (Saudade) de 1939 el cual su autor comenzó a interpretar como un previo a los dos primeros movimientos constituyendo una sola obra.
"The Cathedral" (Agustín Pío Barrios 1885-1944) is considered his masterpiece. It consists of three movements: "Andante Religioso" and "Allegro Solemne", composed in 1921 and a third, the "Prelude" (Saudade) of 1939 which its author began to interpret as a previous to the first two movements constituting a single work.
