I love the role of Uncle Lin although it is short role this kind of trust still exists. This save Lei Yuzheng the company build by his father. Although his father told him that he is a withdrawn person, you cannot blame him being insecure in a relationship. He never really love a person in the opposite sex until he met Du Xiaosu. I remember he met her first before Dr. Shao. We have to remember that when Dr. Shao left he said to Lei Yuzheng to look and take care of Du Xiaosu while he is away. This is the time drama becomes more interesting and complicated. Du Xiaosu persevere a lot from Lei Yuzheng with his insult to her, but he learned from her and slowly falling closer to Du Xiaosu
Lei Yuzheng has so much class. I wish I could model his behaviour, but I know I'm too old for change. Sigh. I wouldn't treat mt enemies badly, but I wouldn't be able to pull it off with as much style as he does. I'm all choked up. This is a very cool character.
Ireally like the Friendship that liecYuzheng & Lin Shangyuan forged . Very dignified and the respect is so present. Du Xiasou’s life is full of some disappointments . I admire her resilience and being so patient. She got a loving heart , Lie Yuzheng 🙄I cannot comprehend being so less care with her. His character of so much pride , he cannot be proactive at all. I’m hoping for a happier love life for Du Xiasou.
We have the same sougth about him,he doesn't respect the feeling of his girlfriend, like she said he treat her like a toy, that have to accept all the bad manners and wait until he pleased call her,he has the looks and the money,but doesn't care of the feeling of others.
Wrong he does care about her...it is because of the situation with Yutian, there was possible danger involved so he kept distance to protect her... It is true that Ms Du and Lei come from very different backgrounds but I believe they both love each other deeply.

When he got out and Mr Lin told him "you're nothing" he realized that he cannot drag her down, even his friend from prison explained to leave him alone to clear his mind, but she kept chasing him (I know she cares about him) but she has to allow him to sort out everything that happened, especially what happened to his mother and the guilt he carried, although it is not his fault. Then the subsequent investigation he made to prove his innocence led to life threatening situations that he again tried to protect her. He is afraid that once his enemies find out about her, she will be compromised. She herself admitted the serious trouble he is in. She said she wanted to be the one with him during this time, but how can he do that?
Of course, now that he has a solution to take the share holders from despair and losing everything they have, that position is his. But before then, no "criminal" could have such a position 🙄
