FOX RIVER WALLEYE - Multiple Techniques

For some reason a lot of people have a negative view of the Fox River in De Pere. They say it's too easy. I don't view that as a negative thing, but instead, an opportunity to perfect a variety of walleye fishing tactics. Despite what some may tell you, every day isn't a 100 fish a day experience. Sure you can catch a fish here and there, but if you want to land a lot of fish, and potentially a true monster gravel lizard, it pays to be able to attack the bite with a variety of different tactics. The river gives you the opportunity to hone the skills of vertical jigging, boat control, casting jigs, throwing blade baits, utilizing your electronics, trolling, etc. It can be wild with people and I enjoy a quiet day on the lake as much as the next guy. With that said, I'm willing to "embrace the suck" and navigate through boat traffic to get better at fishing, have a good time with my brother, and have a chance at a true giant.
