I read The Midnight Library and I agree, I was excited about the different lives at first but then after so many lives I just wanted to get to the end. I didn’t absolutely love Say You’ll Be Mine and it definitely been because of the lack of communication. I really liked First Lie Wins but only because of the last half. I agree the flashbacks were annoying and slowed the book down. It might’ve been better if it just went in chronological order 🤔
I just found your channel and I love it! Getting so many good book recs!

You banged your head so many times with “Yinka, Where is Your Huzband?” that it gave me an idea. Instead of assigning stars to a book (as Goodreads does) we can assign head-bangs to it. Dezmond gives this book 5 head-bangs. Read it!

Ooouhwee I’m acclimated to you holding the books up ( but maybe I made that up?) and when that first one popped up in the corner I was discombobulated for a second . You ARE sunlight so doesn’t matter when you film ☀️ 🌙 to me personally 📖🪱💚

I feel like that about rereading my top favorites. I do reread certain books, but the ones I was going to try to reread in December- Simple Prayers(Michael Golding), Love in the Time of Cholera, and The Neverending Story- remain un-reread. Maybe this year.

Does Desmond have a Book Club?
If not, I think "Yinka Where is Your Husband" should be the first book.

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed reading Poor Things by Alaisdair Grey and frustrated by how much I disliked reading The Golden Spoon by Jessa Maxwell.

I don't know how people read 15 books per month. They're probably unemployed, or idk, how does one find that amount of time to read so much.

If you have a long commute to work and back, for example, you can get a LOT of reading done.@@OzmaOfOzz

I like listening to audiobooks but sometimes the sound of the narrator's voice puts me to sleep so I don't get as much reading done as I would like.😆@@Kaaaman
