All the JoJo openings are good at conveying an emotion, and Chase is no different Chase is anger. Not the furious justice type of anger we see in Chono Shino Sadame, or the driving force we see in Stand Proud and End of the World, no. Chase is an aimless anger, caused by grief. Trying to hunt down someone who's caused you pain, and not even knowing who they are.

Kira perspective: random strangers keep getting in your way and have ripped your peaceful life away and now you must rigorously work to get it back. Now you must chase him down and bring an end to him so he won't take anything more away.
I liked the part with Kira’s hand crushing a skull, and the part with echoes act 3, and the part at the end with Josuke reaching outwards towards Kira in tune with the song... I think I like this op too much

There is no way people call this intro weak, I understand it doesnt sound like a jojo intro. However if we get the same future funk-ish intros it wont convey a message, especially for s4. Im so conflicted on who's singing, because half of the lyrics sounds like Kira's saying them, but the other half also sounds like Josuke. Maybe its just a beautiful duet of the two.
The lyrics to the song go both ways. Kira and Josuke had a carefree life before they met each other Both are chasing something; For Kira a quiet life, for Josuke, justice. Both see each other as a demon, Kira ripped away his life and many others and josuke interrupted his. Both need to be quick in order to get their life back, Kira needs to be alert and blend back into the crowd and josuke needs to find Kira before he does that.
Allow me to clarify something. There is no bad opening. Maybe some are worse than others but they are all good. All the openings do a great job telling the current state of the story and hiding little details.

There is no way people call this intro weak, I understand it doesnt sound like a jojo intro.
However if we get the same future funk-ish intros it wont convey a message, especially for s4. Searching for a serial killer, literally anyone could be him and you're angry, hes wiping out your small town that otherwise had no problems. This is my favorite intro, i love s4 so much dude.

Both are chasing something; For Kira a quiet life, for Josuke, justice.
Both see each other as a demon, Kira ripped away his life and many others and josuke interrupted his.
Both need to be quick in order to get their life back, Kira needs to be alert and blend back into the crowd and josuke needs to find Kira before he does that.
