I would argue that Fortnums is more of a luxury food brand/hall, that’s where the royals get their groceries from! You should try them next or maybe compare with Harrods
Hi Grace - it’s only me - I haven’t watched the Vlog/video yet but I saw it was Harrods and felt I had to comment , I’m 53 years old both my auntie and my grandad used to work at Harrods my auntie was in the perfume department and my grandad was in the carpet laying factory called the depository - I always used to be up there with my Nan used to go to the food and always treat ourselves to a chocolate nut twist. It was a lot cheaper then also ever since I can remember we always got the Harrods Christmas pudding at Christmas ~ About 20 years ago, my mum‘s neighbour her son used to be a buyer in the fresh fruit and vegetable department, he said it was amazing ~ sorry about not watching your Vlog/video yet. It’s just I’m waiting for the nurse to give me my medication. I live in a rehabilitation centre as I suffer with secondary progressive multiple sclerosis and lupus. I’m either bedbound or wheelchair bound. ~ sending loads of love and loads of hugs ~ Xxx Xxx
Hi, I worked at Harrods in the pastry kitchen about 6 years ago. Leftover food would be thrown out, and in fact, security would make sure no employee left the place with food items at the end of the day. You could legitimately risk your job doing that. Super sad as there was always stuff left over, and I'm sure many people would have loved to have some to take home. As far as I know, nothing has changed since I worked there, and there's no programme in place to give the leftovers to the homeless or needy. Such a huge waste.
The Harrod’s head pastry chef has a book out called A New Way To Bake and everything is plant based… testing out a few of those would be a great video!
Your video are always a pleasure to watch Grace! The comfort and humour you bring is just wonderful. Maybe some possible video suggestions could be; eating a day in the 90s, letting a hat decide what you eat in a day, eating what ‘diet culture’ has told us not to, eating like your fav celebrities or recreating your childhood day of eats? Xx
Love this type of video and love seeing the different foods that you choose. I absolutely think you should do this again and get things that you dont think will be hood and maybe you'll be surprised.
I need more vlogs pleaseeeee❤️ i love watching you but im recovering from an ed so sometime these food main videos are hard to watch but i love your personality so much!
Iv missed your videos so happy to see your video pop up today just what i needed ❤ PS i hope you had an amazing time away and your enjoying being an auntie Xx
Egg salad (or deviled eggs, for that matter) is one of those things I just don't buy from anybody. My egg salad/deviled eggs may not be the best to everybody, but it's the best to me.
I love this format and I love your videos...would love to see you do more of your trying different recipes from social media or celebrity chefs or from round the world (St Lucian cuisine is something special 😋😉🇱🇨 if you felt like it😊)
I love this video grace! Also have you tried Waitrose’s olive sourdough from their bakery? It’s honestly unreal so soft but crispy outside 😍😂I’m obsessed!!
I had the crème brûlée from the dessert counter at Harrods and it was grim, tasted just of scrambled eggs. I was so disappointed. But their cheese straws, incredible!
Not sure if selfridges have a food hall as well but if so you could do a video comparing similar items from each one and eating which one you think is better Or doing it with other food halls you can find in London :) xx
Do Harrods reduce their produce at the end of the day (yellow label?) if so it would be interesting to know how much by! Maybe you could do a vlog only eating yellow labelled foods from Harrods if they do reduce them and see what you get :)
Do Eataly Grack!!! I think Harrods is just brand over substance, sadly. I went into the souvenier floor the other day and saw pens for sale that were £10, and were absoloutely plastic rubbish, nothing apart from the harrods logo would make it more than 50p.
Love your videos but wish you would do your taste testing at the venue itself. I do wonder how many hours elapse between the buying and the tasting. ☺️☺️
I never comment but the first drink with added cultures is basically just healthy food for your gut bateria! It’s amazing for your digestion and doesn’t harm you in anyway!
@@eadweard. I can’t speak to the actual brand but the ingredients she read off did contain a very real gut bateria culture. So whether or not it actually works can be up for debate, however, from a biological stand point there is something that is enriching to bacteria within it.
Waitrose's Duchy Organic Peppermint Tea is really good, a stronger and sweeter flavour than Clipper's. But if you want to try a really punchy peppermint tea, try the teapigs one!
my favourite sandwich from harrods is the trio of rolls of truffle egg mayo/lobster roll/prawn for 15 (unless the price has gone up). Out of them my favourite is the egg but the prawn and lobster are super fresh. I feel a bit better than I'm paying 15 for lobster rather than 12 for just a egg mayo roll!
Opposite my Mother's home in Knightsbridge. Love Harrods. Especially the East Dulwich Restaurant; which sadly they closed. Spent many hours in there during Uni.
Does Harris’s food department get a lot of business? Because it looks like they make too much to make the cases look good but that would explain why things didn’t taste that fresh. They have to be getting rid of a ton of food, right?!
Ah you should have told us total cost , and yes we can all have bad days … but can Harris’s at such a high price ….. and like another lady said omg what do they do with the waste each day 😮
So interesting it just proves that premium price doesn't always mean the best but when they get things right they get things deliciously riiiiight 🙂 wish I lived nearer to try some of the baked goods
you should order online the pies that the korean englishman had on their jolly channel. i think the video is called the worlds best pies. i dont remember where the shop is but its in the uk. its one of my fav videos of theirs because theyre so shocked at how good they are
You've had so many disappointments trying foods you thought you'd love that I wonder what would happen if you spent a day eating only foods you thought you wouldn't like? Think about it, but not too hard... 😉
Day 1 of you to do an updates ‘fast food fries’ video!! it’s the video i found u with and i go back to watching it alllll the time!! we need updated! wingstop? dominos? kfc new fries?
I've worked in care most of my adult life (31 now) and have just left to work at a luxury chocolate factory, haven't watched yet but hoping you picked some up 😂
The top of your fridge isn't the best place to store open bottles of wine, especially for someone like you who, I suspect, uses it mainly for cooking and takes a very long time to get through an entire bottle. It's quite warm up there. Even the top of the cupboards would be much better.
Oh how exciting, but why did you buy basically 5kinds of bread for your meals?! The salad plates looked amazing, and they must have some kind of fancy soups!? The pie looked good, but I'm not a pie girl😬
I would argue that Fortnums is more of a luxury food brand/hall, that’s where the royals get their groceries from! You should try them next or maybe compare with Harrods
such a good idea !!

Oh WOW! I have never tasted a Harrods Christmas pudding. So sorry to hear of your ill health. x
Sorry to hear you're so poorly, I hope you have good/better days and lots of them.
This is such a sweet comment ❤
Lovely memories. Thank you for sharing them 😊
sending you love ❤️
Would love to see you make the same recipe using ingredients from Harrods vs a cheaper supermarket
I hope Harrods donate whatever fresh food is left over each day, there seemed to be sooo much food and I can't imagine they sell it all

@@tamaratravani absolutely... that's sad...
@@tamaratravaniwhy aren’t they allowed to take it home though?
They’re elitist i guess 🥲
I don’t actually rate Harrods but knowing this was/potentially still is their policy, they would never be getting my money again
The Harrod’s head pastry chef has a book out called A New Way To Bake and everything is plant based… testing out a few of those would be a great video!
OO YES
i feel like there were SO many choices it was a shame that every single meal was a bread/pastry product 😭😂

I feel like pastries are always going to taste bad the next day, need to do this fresh!
Please do another video of eating foods you've never tried before or foods you don't/think you don't like. 😊 Keep up the fun content.
Absolutely loved this!!!! Was struggling to find something good to watch while eating THEN YOU UPLOADED
That was the same for me and my nannie so we are watching this whilst eating our pudding 😂

Twinnings buttermint tea is my fave - tastes just like the sweets. Give it a try if you haven't already !
The 24hrs videos are my absolute favourite 👍🏻
Iv missed your videos so happy to see your video pop up today just what i needed ❤ PS i hope you had an amazing time away and your enjoying being an auntie Xx
Love the little mic Grace, really improves the audio 😊

That sugary croissant used to be my go to when I worked at Harrods a few years ago it's so so so good especially when fresh!
Love this theme for these videos! Does Harrod’s do Too Good To Go?
I am LOVING!!!! the camera quality and colors omg! Looks so professional Grace
I was going to comment the same thing! It’s great! xx
I agree the 3 types of mint makes the Pukka extra special compared to just peppermint
Love another afternoon tea video. The peggy porschen afternoon tea and farmacy afternoon tea look amazing
I loved this video and 24 hour videos in general! Please make a part 2 💕
THE THUMBNAIL IS AWWWWWWESOME!!!❤
You definitely need to try this at Fortnum & Mason!
you likening you own comment you rascal? 🤣
Why do I feel like Harrods is the food version of hamleys 😂
24 hours Fortnum and Mason- love your videos btw x
The Hamilton Mini sing along was 👌
You should try twinings buttermint, so delicious
Thank you much love xx
Well this was a lot of fun - love your videos
I had the crème brûlée from the dessert counter at Harrods and it was grim, tasted just of scrambled eggs. I was so disappointed. But their cheese straws, incredible!
They fill the egg mayo sandwich lop sided to make it look fuller.
The olive sticks at 1:44 are BANGING. I went to Harrods every single day on my last visit to the UK just to have one.
Edit: Just got to 5:20 🤣
Would love to see another video like this but where someone else picks out your food :)
Not sure if selfridges have a food hall as well but if so you could do a video comparing similar items from each one and eating which one you think is better

I second that Grace, the three mint pukka, is also my favourite. U are spot ok gurly.
Grace have you seen the recipe where they mix pomegranate juice and gelatine and blend it and it makes a healthy marshmallow?
Love your videos but wish you would do your taste testing at the venue itself. I do wonder how many hours elapse between the buying and the tasting. ☺️☺️
Love your videos Grace!! I have a super random question, what colour / brand paint is on your living room walls?
I never comment but the first drink with added cultures is basically just healthy food for your gut bateria! It’s amazing for your digestion and doesn’t harm you in anyway!
It's bollocks and does nothing.

Lovely trip down memory lane for you❤
Sorry that you have ill health❤
I LOVE their doughsants lol, literally used to get them every week
Love your channel thank you 🙏🏼💗🤗🙏🏼
I’d love to see trying cheapest items from harrods food hall or employee recommends!
Waitrose's Duchy Organic Peppermint Tea is really good, a stronger and sweeter flavour than Clipper's. But if you want to try a really punchy peppermint tea, try the teapigs one!
Egg mayonnaise sandwiches all look the same from any shop to me!
Have you ever had Buttermint tea? It's the best! Almost vanilla/buttery, sounds gross but blimey it's delicious!
Oooh new camera!! I have an idea: what if you chose things that did NOT look appetizing?😂
have you ever baked the olive bread??!!
£12 at nandos no longer gets you a big juicy meal 😢
Just went to London on holiday and the olive bread stick was a HIT (also i rate the cheese one as well!!)

wow i can't see how all that food will be sold before it runs bad haha
Just pure spearmint tea is so good, I get mine from Amazon
You should do the Harrods afternoon tea
I thought the pie would have had more filling. 😮 As a Wiganer we make the best pies.😊
What about 24 hours eating Selfrridges food . For a comparison.
❤ oh and loove pukka tea but it's so expensive 😢
Lovely video.👍🥰
I would challenge you to try the same food groups in Winchester. Great place for food, possibly better than London....
I managed to find spearmint tea years ago and I love it but I’ve yet to find it again.

Not the ADDED CULTURES! 😂
You're Delightful!
I NEED you to find the best mac and cheese in London 😱
I've worked in care most of my adult life (31 now) and have just left to work at a luxury chocolate factory, haven't watched yet but hoping you picked some up 😂
Why do people not like the 24 hour videos? They're my absolute favourite.
I thought you was going to get that croissant with gold leaf on for lunch!
You should do this again but get Harrods staff to choose your food for a day
See if you can make a full days meals out of a Fortnum & Mason hamper? Like a big one....
Pleaseeee, do a video of things you think you might not like
No no no. Pukka mint tea, how could you Grace?! Not good at all, so so strong no matter how weakly brewed!
