Hey everyone, this moisturiser is in my mixer right now. I initially felt overwhelmed, even though I had all the ingredients I kept putting off making it. But y'all, it's so easy to do and it looks so thick and luscious in my mixer bowl. I can't wait to try it in my hair. Next, I'm on to making the oat and aloe deep conditioner. Michelle, you are a Queen for giving us these DIY's. Thank you 😘😍
This recipe has been AMAZING for me! I used coconut water instead of rose water, and avocado oil instead of Babassu oil (since I didn't have any of those ingredients). This is the first DIY leave in conditioner that my hair loves, giving me the moisture and curl definition I've always wanted. I have now ended my DIY quest for the right moisturizer. Thank you so much!
Highly recommend this! I already made my second batch today, this stuff is soo good. Thanks for this awesome recipe, my hair honestly never looked & felt better.
Thank you for the recipe. I did it and I can't wait to apply it on my hair after my wash day. I'm afraid about my hair becoming dry because of the oat. I mixed it with my flaxseed/chia seed gel. I whipped it so much it looks like icecream (I filled 3 bottles). I used mango butter only. For the preservative I used my cosgard.
I finally tried it on my hair. I almost finished it. I shared the cream with a friend and she was so happy and gave good feedback. For me as I said I used mango butter only and used half oat gel half flaxseed/chia gel. Awesome results. So hydrating ! My curls shoed up like crazy ! I have high high porosity hair, hyper coily 4C. I don't even add oil after I applied the cream. It's on my list of cream ! next I'll try marshmallow root, fenugrec !
This recipe looks bomb! After your oat gel recipe, I made a DC that is almost the same as this recipe! You saw how my hair was after. Shining bright like a diamond like yours. 😍😍😂 That oat gel video was inspiring! Thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you very much for this recipe. God bless you. I did it and I have 4c high porosity, hyper coily not easy cooperative hair. It was amazing the way my hair feel : hydrated, so easy to detangle, shiny, not hard at all, soft, I saw curls I've never seen before ! The volume a got was awesome. Am in love with this cream.
Your recipes have been so amazing. It’s great to have the exact measurements with the accurate preservative amount so I don’t have to do the figuring out myself and mess something up. I have acquired enough basic ingredients that I can make your recipes immediately without having to order something. I do have a question, can I make Rosewater tea with Rose petal powder instead of boiling the flower method? Thanks for all your service. My hair has NEVER accepted moisture like this!!
Yaaaabadaaabadoooohh! Finally find someone on YT that has the same hair like me. Plus, I wear my hair natural since 2008 as well after giving birth to my 2nd child!! I'll try this one for sure😄. You've found yourself a new subscriber. Thanks for reaching out to me on IG after stumbling out on your page last night😉
You said you think you could tweak a few things? Like what, what would you have changed betweeen then and now . I have low porosity hair high density. Just curious
I have been useing rose water in my routine and I feel like every person who struggles with dryness should have that in their routine.Would you consider doing other ingredents with Rosewater?
So it depends on the preservative but generally you need one. Each preservative has a shelf life or is based on the pH of the product. When you add a preservative you can leave your product out
That what i left out BTMS i forgot i couldn't find it anywhere and i was so in a rush to make it i dnt like really ordering online i went to a few stores nobody new what i was tlk about i guess i won't hve to luck with this one i wish i would love to make this as well lil sad 😣
Hi it's me again please if you want to make this product in a large quantitywhat measurement should I be looking out for or should I use because I like making fritters and white large quantity I actually need your help
@@NowIAmNappy thanks Hun. I'm in the UK so I can't get optiphen or germall plus, for some reason 🙄 But I'll look into leucidal if it's reasonably priced. If not I'll have to get something synthetic like propylene glycol, probably not ideal, but it's not too bad. Thanks for answering and I love your videos 😍
Hi need help with preservative...where I live can't get germaben or optiphen...so which alternative natural preservative do you recommend please...thanks
Thank you i hve all the stuff except BTMS dnt no where i can find it at and i hve rose water but not rose water tea do you hve a substitute for the BTMS what can i use in the place is it important of the ingredients can i leave it out sense i dnt no where to find it at i dnt wanna order online take to long cause of what going the shipping ?
I want to buy oat gel and oat based products but can't find anywhere! Aveeno has some but not the ones I'm looking for :( if you ever sell your products (like the oat gel) let me know! Thanks!
@@NowIAmNappy thank you! I just took a look. I was hoping to buy your oat gel but I didn't see it in the products listed. How can I purchase just the oat hair gel?
I tried to make it but dnt no why mine didn't come out creamy at al more stiff or i should say solid not creamy at all do u no what i can used to make it creamy i used majority of your ingredients u used 😞
Also hun, you must use the extract measurement that I have used, they are calculated for a specific reason to make the product thick and creamy. You can sub and oil for an oil but you can’t leave out part altogether

Oh wow that’s awesome!! Anytime I can get you to try a deep conditioner then I know I’m doing something right
This inspired me to make a flax and oat hair gel. I used flaxseed, oat, and aloe gel, rose and chia seed water, and a little bit of honey.
Thank you so much for coming to our level with the measurements....lol and also I want to start making my own
You’re welcome sis, I thought it was time

Can use bee wax instead ?
Hi! Does this solidify after a few days or does it stay fluffy?
This sounds like something I need for my hurr! I have glycerin can I use that as a preservative? If not, any other liquid preservative?
Glycerin cannot be used as a preservative, you can use optiphen, leucidal liquid, germall plus

I’ve searched all over and cannot find BTMS 225?
Any substitutes for rose water? Thanks in advance
