"I want American English, though I barely speak it", damn you sir I neatly choked on my gin and tonic!!! I guess that a "Windows alike" Linux distro works for as many Windows refugees as it confuses! I enjoy your RUclips channel immensely, please maintain your style and attitude 👍
Soon as I saw the demo, I thought of the older relatives that keep having problems much like you did in your closing thoughts. It's close enough to Windows that they'll remember the simple instructions of opening a browser and going to a video chat from there. But not Windows enough to keep getting drive-by downloads of exes or clicking on something that won't (hopefully) affect the Linux core in this.
Hi Paddy. Another nice and useful review. I almost agree with you. Except regarding Linux distro for newbies. I believe Linux Mint is a better choice as it is based on Ubuntu but have excluded snaps. Unless you really want snaps as with a minor change you can install snapd. Nevertheless, I agree with you 95%. Keep up the good work mate! By the way I’m portuguese :) and it was good to know that you know it was portuguese in Windowsfx. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone...like you... but it is nice to see what anyone can do with a distro...
If the "real Lindows" wouldn`t be "attacked" by MS, today would be so popular. Back in the day, Lindows was the only OS 100% capable of running MS compatible EXE programs
Can you make a video about increasing windows 10 performance please? There are already a lot of videos about that in You Tube, but i really want your opinion about that 👍.Thanks!
@@gerigeri5976 try different Linux versions as live OS. Ubuntu and Mint are good starting distros. That way you won't lose windows install until you are ready to make the decision.
The guide I follow when speeding up Windows 10 is this one, there's really nothing I can add that this video doesn't cover. ruclips.net/video/8E6OT_QcHaU/видео.html
Thanks. I am so angry at Microsoft right now that I am actually going to try this. I hate windows 10. My computer was freezing earlier because of some bug they have with network adapter
Great job! I think you are thorough about who and why also! :)

Thank You! As always I will try it in a VM. Possibly an old laptop with SSD, and Dual boot Linuxfx and windows
Thank you very much.....

No 32bit x86??? Aggh!
Awaiting you Raspberry tutorial
I think it's because it's based on Ubuntu, which is phasing out 32bit versions. :(
If you're running linux, just use the built in 'dd' command to burn the iso to a USB.
Is Office 2007 the latest version of MS Office supported??
👌🏽
I have used Linux, IOS and Windows. I keep coming back to Windows my iMac has been sitting for over a year never turned on just sitting there.
Try Windows 12 Lite, the nEw Best oPeraTiNg SySTem!
Let me guess,...
They discontinued it?
It looks like they just switched gears a bit, it's called WindowsFX now. www.linuxfx.org/index.php/sistemas-operacionais/windowsfx-10-7

That's easy. Uninstall Windows 10 and never install it again. Linux is the light!
@@IOTWVUVWTOI Thanks for the advice
