Carnival does an afternoon tea - only on one day of the cruise. They tend to not market it as much as it is very basic. I like the experience so I keep my eye open.

How is the food on Discovery Princess compared to other cruise lines? I am seeing wide spectrum of opinions from different people from being really bad in mdr and buffet to one of the best ever. How is it compared to Royal Caribbean or Holland America or even Carnival?
I would say that the buffet was the best I’ve seen when looking at other cruise lines. But the main dining room was probably somewhere in the middle for me. It was good, but I didn’t feel like it beat out Royal or Disney.
Is that Duvall, the cruise director?

Next time I’m on Carnival I will look for afternoon tea. I feel like if you don’t know it’s there, then you wouldn’t know to look.

It really all depends on you. If you can drink your money's worth, then yes. If you're only going to have a few a day, then not at all.
