- Parliament Session 2024 Live Updates: Rucuks overtook both Houses of Parliament as the opposition raised the issue of the NEET scam and paper leaks, with constant sloganeering. The opposition had moved an adjournment notice for discussion under Rule 267 on Friday.The opposition demand carried the seed of serious confrontation on the very first day of substantive business in the 18th Lok Sabha. While the govt business had listed the start of the discussion on the "Motion of Thanks" to the President’s joint address, the INDIA bloc wanted to start the Parliament with a discussion on NEET paper leaks.
