Where There’s a Will is one of the most angsty mm books I have read, I told Michae To read it and it made her favorites of the year list she enjoyed it.
Finding Gene Kelly is not only cute, but has great rep for chronic illness (endometriosis) and has a pining, worshing hero with great caretaking in it. Highly recommend!
I definitely recommend Forever Your Rogue by Erin Langston, it was one of my favourite reads last year. Also the two novellas that go with it a wonderful. A Day Until Forever (prequel) and Some Winter’s Evening (holiday sequel). All three are at the top of my recommendations for HR
You must, must , must read 6 scorched Roses!!! Jess from Honestfiction put it in her 10 top of 2023! Yes, this is the novella of The crown of Nyaxia series. It is to be read after A serpent and the Wings of Night just before The Ashes and The Star-Cursed King. If you love Raihn, I guarantee you will swoon over Vale, the vampire! And absolutely love Lilith the heroine in this novella! This story was my favorite of the year!!
I think if there is a book by Rina Kent you will really like based on your taste, it's Blood of my Monster which is Mulan inspired, and God of Fury which is m/m and the dynamic is not bully romance.
My votes are for In A Jam, Six Scorched Roses, and Forever Your Rogue! I loved In A Jam and Six Scorched Roses and I would love to hear your thoughts on Forever Your Rogue, I've been thinking about picking that one up.
6/5 stars, A++, 200% for Forever Your Rogue 😍 Gah, it was so good. And she has two novellas (a prequel and a sequel) that I’d recommend as well. Some Winter’s Evening was my faaaaavorite.
Read "The right thing to do" - It's the best Dramione fanfic in my opinion. High angst, slow burn, great and supportive side characters (I hated Hermione's friends in Manacled), very good payoff in the end (my only criticism of "The auction" is that there was very small payoff but you get it in this one"). My favorite book of the year wasn't a romance actually but if I had to pick a romance it would be "Untaken Twin" by Samantha Christy. It's a romance between a brother whose twin died and his twin's fiance. Both hero and heroine are lonely and tortured and feel guilt etc... but their love can't be denied. Best romance for the year.
Where there’s a will & if there’s a way, are my fav mm books from last year!

Forever Your Rogue was one of my favorites as well! And Erin Langston is a debut indie historical romance author, so I was thrilled to discover her.
God of Fury was amazing! (And the audio…🔥🔥🔥)

honey & spice was really good, especially the audiobook
I nominate 'King' as your SJ Tilly read. It was bananas in the best way.

You definitely have to pick up Forever Your Rogue! I picked it up after Crystal gave it 6 stars.
Six Scorched Roses is a novella, but it feels like a complete romance.
