Mr Gabbai lived until March 2020.
He was such a lovely, gentle, sweet man.
The horrors he witnessed and endured are more than most could have survived.
He would have be right to hate, but he chose to love.
He was loved and respected for his dignity.
I have seen this interview many times, and many additional interviews to watch and read.
I would encourage all who see this to search for more on this very special man.
May his memory be a blessing.

Kelly, I do understand what you’re saying, but remember why these interviews were made.
They were made for future generations to hear the reality of what happened.
Fact, and the documents recovered support Mr Gabbai’s memory, that cause emotional response now will be imperative once there are no survivors left.
Many of these witnesses said little-or-nothing for decades, although wanting to tell their realities.
These same people understand the tremendous importance their testimonies have, and will have, as more generations come and go.
