Thank you! My budget is really tight so I've been trying to figure out a way to use Pinterest for my business without paying for a tool. This was really helpful.
Thank you Heather. I'm just getting started with Pinterest. I have be using the scheduler but didn't realise I could use it this way to do multiple duplicate pins to different boards. I love this strategy.
hey i have just started following you , i am following u every where on social media, just want to know why u have not revealed the SECRET trick at 2:50 - 2:58
Great video, thank you for this. Just a couple of questions. In the video you said you'd have 7 pins for 7 days but then you'd have alternate times and pin a different pin so you would be pinning many times in one day.? In total how many would you suggest to pin a day?
How strict is Pinterest when it comes to posting the same blog url link? Let's say I've created 10 fresh pins for each blog post I have, even though they are fresh the url is the exact same, wouldn't posting the same url daily look kind of spammy to Pinterest? I have hundreds of pins ready to be scheduled, just want to make sure my account doesnt get flagged for spam. I was thinking to maybe waiting 3-4+ days before posting the same url again. Look forward to your response :)
Hey there! Is it true now that we can't even post duplicate pins? I am new to this and I've been hearing everyone say there are a lot of new rules. So now I am confused lol.
Lets say I create a 2 pins for a url which look different but have the same url. Now if I post those 2 pins to 2 different boards with 4 days gap within each post and now I create 2 more pins for the same url which look different from the rest and from each other and post those to the same 2 boards as before with 4 days gap. Is it okay to do it like this for each url if the pins look different but have the same url?
So helpful as usual, i wanna publish a video pin in the mp4 format but as soon i try to publish it gives me an error that the file size is not correct. Plz tell me what is the right video pin size and format❤❤❤
quick question: is pin design the same, the description, and URL of the post is the same? and also have you created a gap of one day with one hour of difference for each pin?
I'm filming an updated scheduling series once I"m done testing intervals that are longer. Right now I would suggest starting with a 7 day interval between each pin.
@@HeatherFarris thanks for the vid good work!, i have questions why the majority of people schedule their posts through Tailwind app website instead of directly using their pinterest business account like you did in this video? is there something special about Tailwind app website ?
@@jeremyalfread8831 a lot of people use Tailwind for ease of scheduling. I’m releasing videos over the coming weeks on other tools. Today I released one on Later but it’s more expensive than I’d prefer. I tested Planoly, Later, Buffer & Hootsuite for scheduling and next week I’m releasing a review video on those 4 together. You can use the native platform - we do this for some of our clients. You can only schedule about 2 weeks out using 30 minute intervals.
Heather ,is there specific time to get better traffic on pinterest ? I ask you because I have never paid attention on this and just post my pins at any time . Is it really necessary to post pins at a certain time of the day ? Could you help me ? by the way, great video ,thanks .
I would say to publish you pins in US timezones if you aren't located here since the majority of users are in the US (as long as your audience is also in the US). A hot tip.. create a free forever Tailwind account, connect Pinterest to Tailwind and create a schedule them come back in a week to see what timeslots your people are pinning. You'll know by the time slots in the tailwind schedule being green. Here's my link if you wanted to signup for free: tailwind.sjv.io/c/1979079/1038731/13164
That was helpful content. But i just want to know about PIN DESIGN 2. By that, do you mean a new pin for the same blog post or is it a pin for a different blog post? An answer would be helpful.
@@HeatherFarris That's very kind of you to reply. I am not quoting you word by word but, here's what you said: PIN design 1 goes out at 6 am every day for 7 days- every day in a different board. PIN design 2 goes out at 7 am, PIN design 3 at 8 am and so on...... So i want to know if PIN design 2,3,4,5.... are going to the same blog post or different ones. Thanks
Yes, they publish as long as you schedule them. Unfortunately there isn't a draft feature just yet so you either upload and pin right away or schedule via the native builder.
So I need to publish an updated video but this same basis still applies. I post the pin to the relevant boards for the week and I move on. All of our clients have so much content they don't need to repeat the same URL very often.
I'm a total beginner with social media and tools like Pinterest and canva. I'm a challenge! Is there anyone out there that can help me get started and make sense of this tutorial. It looks great!? But I don't understand how to develop what you have here for my purposes. Thanks!!
I haven't found an issue with using this method & I have been using it for clients this entire year. Pinterest wants new & fresh content whether it's delivered by Tailwind which is also just creating copies. Either way you slice it "repins" or copies are made. You can upload with this method once and save to each individual board as well. I created this video ruclips.net/video/bW_IrBrfF9c/видео.html talking about manual pinning as well.
Heather Farris Yes absolutely! Tailwind dies create duplicates and that’s why I don’t use it either. I’m just focusing on fresh pins without repining and that is working too. But you did made repins A LOT easier. Thank you!!💕✨
I just read in the pinterest help section regarding pin scheduling, that you can only plan a max of 30 ahead...? help.pinterest.com/en/business/article/schedule-pins Any thoughts on this would be appreciated... Thanks for your Videos!
This was super helpful! So do you ever repin your own pins from your feed? Meaning you go back into your Pinterest activity feed and look for your pin and repin it to another one of your boards? I am assuming that this takes the place of that and Pinterest likes this better because they are discouraging back-to-back repins.
I don’t do that actually. I know this was something people did a long time ago. I do repin from my google analytics if they haven’t been pinned in a long time. Higher performing pins are what I pull in from google analytics.
But you can't schedule other people's Pins can you?? as a beginner blogger I need to schedule other people's pins since I don't have enough content yet
You absolutely do not have to pin or schedule other people’s pins to succeed on Pinterest. You can schedule your own pins for now. If you want to pin other people’s pins you can just save them to your boards. No need to schedule.

Wow, this is really easy. It makes more sense to me and is easier. I've seen videos and articles that says that you can't do this. Thanks.
That’s likely because they want you to use their affiliate link to sign up for a tool.
Holy Cow! I've been paying Tailwind when I could be doing this myself. Thank you!!
There are so many options now!

The latest suggestion is a 7 day minimum interval between them. I'm planning to update this video in September with new recommendations.
I have a question. How do you share to group boards using this scheduler. The only ones that show up on this are my own.
Your group boards should be listed in your boards drop down?? I’ll need to check this on my end maybe Pinterest threw an update.
