Very helpful thank you..i am still learning to swim front crawl at least 2 years now. I really struggled for the first 7 months until i used bouyancy shorts and they were a game changer. I was more relaxed and didnt worry to much about all the mechanics because they were keeping me buoyant. But soon i developed the techniques and I was swimming in the sea for up to 1 hour at a time.. I loved it. Until i decided i wanted to swim without using them. I want to be a better swimmer than having to rely on these bouyancy aids.. Iam going through all the pain in trying to learn again. My breathing pattern has completely gone and i cant swim anymore than 50 metres without needing a rest to recover. Iam confident knowing i can swim, i believe it is definitely my breathing pattern which is letting me down. I have tried out the nose and the mouth, but what is best and how long for? I swim every 2 strokes.. Also any tips to help improve a pattern that suits. Thank you kindly.. I am a great follower of you videos, keep up the good work.
Doing something similar, I think the trick is to not do ALL with the buoyancy shorts and when not using them to really try to mimic that body position: pressing on the chest, hips up , light kicking
Very well explained. Thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!
I'm breathless even at 50m 🤭, but not when doing breaststroke.
