Thank You 👍
Thanks for the walk around Andrew. We like the quarry setting and the chalk pits 👍. Looks like the site ought to be on the club’s redevelopment list to address those soggy pitches and maybe install fully serviced pitches too. Best regards, Rob & Gail 😀
Yes it's certainly in need of an investment, great site to visit Cambridge though, thanks for watching
Nice little walk around thanks 😊
Glad you enjoyed
Some years ago we visited the site just around the time they changed the arrival time from twelve to one o’clock and when we arrived there was about twenty outfits waiting to enter the site thinking it was twelve o’clock entry. We were all parked on the land with the new posts at the entrance it was just spare ground then and not formal as it is now. I also remember that when you were next in the queue to enter you had to walk onto the site and pick your pitch come back and tell the wardens and they’d let you on site. It was because of all the dead end pitches and difficulty in turning around with a caravan if that area was full. So it did take some time to clear all those caravans and motorhomes, that’s probably why they are allocating pitches at busy times now.
I can see why you have to walk to find pitch, it would be awkward as so many dead end roads & hardly any turning space, nice site & so easy to get into Cambridge from there, thank you for watching 👍
I'm constantly underwhelmed by the C&MC sites. It's top dollar for the sort of facilities that are the norm on most sites now. How about having more privacy hedges - many sites are no better than parking in a field. Or some GOOD free WiFi.
Yes must admit some of the sites do require updating, we have stopped on sites with better facilities a little cheaper but also stopped on more expensive sites far worse, thanks for watching 👍
Shame about the no fly zone.
Yes it was, never mind, flight restrictions covered all of Cambridge as the airport is so close to the city
