Totally Awesome! People need to do some in-depth research, and study on Elliot Easton. He is one of the BEST, most under-rated guitarists when it comes to style, creativity, playing, and ingenuity. He is one very smart musician. Now he is in the Rock n Roll Hall of fame. Well deserved, and long overdue.
@@brentanderson7968 Robbie is actually a really unique guitarist, coming from playing flamenco his picking hand is just insane. The way he strums and fingerpicks on break on through is what makes that riff so cool. Elliott has always been a guitar idol of mine. I'm a Lefty also and I read in a interview that getting quality instruments was the main problem for him. His endorsement deal with Dean caused other companies to make something other than a strat or Les Paul and the only reason I now have a Lefty firebird is because he advertised Gaskell guitars and Gibson stole him and made the tiki bird
Shut up with that underrated crap… Just because you didn’t give him attention for years doesn’t mean he’s underrated… He is highly rated among the trade magazines, and the laity. But you’re ilk must show up on each of these videos to say so-and-so is underrated.
This was sort of a bizarre get together. Elliot E. is awesome! I wouldn’t of believed that Robby Krieger was on the stage, until the camera panned out. One of my favorite players.
E.E. still slaying it !!!! The guy was a master of getting in, getting out without ever over playing it. His compositions are masterful and he plays it verbatim live every time.
Elliot's solo album CHANGE NO CHANGE from 1985 was fantastic! He displays all of the talent on the guitar that made him a legend and his vocals are pretty great as well
Elliott Easton is a brilliant player, does what he does perfect. His solo's are so catchy and so cool. And he's a terrific bloke so down to earth and humble . Love the Car's and of course Elliott Easton. 🎸
What an interesting lineup this is. 3 distinct generations of rock music represented. Bach sounds pretty good, but his mic was too low. Easton still has the chops. His solos are always so crisp. Slash has called him one of his favorite guitarists, which has stuck with me because Easton doesn't get a ton of praise.
Satriani and Vai may be perfectly proficient and highest order masters of the guitar, but I would rather listen to Elliot Easton any day. He is much more approachable in his music than the other two.
I always noticed - and liked - how Elliot wasn’t precious about guitaring it up with anyone & playing Cars music. He’s definitely the most open & funloving member of the Cars, next to Greg. The other guys seemed more kind of hung up on it, which in a lot of ways was understandable.
I am a huge Cars fan. I love Elliot and this song. But I hate to break the news, the biggest star on that stage by a long mile is Robby. Wish could have seen more of him in this.
Thanks for your opinion, and I totally agree that the biggest star on the stage was Robby....however, this was the one song that he invited Elliot to join them...and Robby was letting him shine and laying back. I have posted other vids where Robby was more a part of the song. I have been a fan of his since the mid 70's.
Elliot is a great guitarist. He put The Cars sound on the map. I'm here to watch Elliot too. Sebastian screwed up the lyrics. 😠 Forgive him Benjamin for he is not as awesome as you.

I thought I've heard them all. But yesterday I got to know the cars and I'm finishing learning this song solo. My MIND is blown
So is Robby Krieger.

Easton:. By far there is none above this magical, humble beyond talented, creative, original, Guitar Genius.

Elliot's play is and has always been at the level of the ROCK GODS. 🎸
I love watching Elliot play!
.. of course I'm here for Elliot
Oh yeah
Man, Elliot just slays it every time! Master guitarist, cool cat.
Elliot Easton never hit a bum note in his life!! Awesomeness!
Bum note ☝️
Bach messing up the lyrics. 😡
Wow. He has aged very well. I just watched him in a 1978 interview and he’s barely changed 💖💖💖
What an awesome guitarist.
Love this!

Eliot Easton’s guitar playing is fucking SWEET. 🎸🎼♥️😛👌💕
That smile from Elliot in the last frame said it all. What an awesome Dude!
Elliott with his "tasty" leads and riffs that made the Cars famous!
E.E. still slaying it !!!! The guy was a master of getting in, getting out without ever over playing it. His compositions are masterful and he plays it verbatim live every time.

Although the recording didn't pick up the vocals very well, you could tell Sebastian did a decent job on this. Elliott still certainly has it.
The Cars original is still the all-time classic, but no matter who covers it, it is one of the best rock songs ever!!
Easton:. THEE BEST GUITARIST EVER. NONE ABOVE THIS TALENT. NONE.
Here for Elliot!
Elliott Easton is a brilliant player, does what he does perfect. His solo's are so catchy and so cool. And he's a terrific bloke so down to earth and humble . Love the Car's and of course Elliott Easton. 🎸
Elliot is so awesome! Great job on vocals Bach! Dig it!! 👍
Robby Kreiger and Elliot Easton in da house, oh yeah! :-)))
Kickass!
Respect to Elliott. Golden hands and perfect tone.
Elliot still rocks
Only 15 comments on Elliot Easton and Sebastian Bach !? Now I know I'm old .

Yeah, cmon, know the words to this gem.

Elliot GREAT
Legendary!!🙆🏻♂️
I always felt that EE was The Cars' secret weapon!
The cars were great in their songs without him. Then when his solos came in they became other worldly.
I always noticed - and liked - how Elliot wasn’t precious about guitaring it up with anyone & playing Cars music. He’s definitely the most open & funloving member of the Cars, next to Greg. The other guys seemed more kind of hung up on it, which in a lot of ways was understandable.
Love to hear the board feed for this one.
Sébastien Bach does The late Benjamin Orr justice on this great classic Cars tune
That was a very nice Elliot Easton (Steinberg) compilation. Please, one or more guitarists, let's see the finger/pick work?
Long live Elliot Easton....

But how about a 🏆 for effort?
While I really dig Elliot, I think Greg made The Cars sound, unless you look at Ben's vocals.
Ben messed up lyrics in performance all the time. He was chuckling somewhere.
Elliot Easton FTW :)
Elliot Easton - (Wearing Down) Like a Wheel
Great.
Wow. EE must of loved playing with Robby.
I love Elliot..❤ the Cars , and i miss Benjamin Orr.
This is so BA!!!!
Cool.
Rockin it...2 guys with alot of hair at 56 and 81
Ben Orr sang this so much sexier. Sorry guys? Still good!
Elliot Easton is still f***** amazing! Love him! Ben Orr is missed!
@@notsure64...Yes ❤❤❤❤❤
all those SGs!
🙆♂️🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷♥️♥️♥️♥️
Elliot is great. Excellent guitar player. But it's he rocking a Beatles or Monkeys wig? Oh yeah, let's hear it for the rain.
Robby looks dressed for the day room.
This whole thing's a little shaky, but Easton sure nailed that solo.
You forgot to add Robby fucking Krieger on the title, man!
I hate to say it but Sebastian Bach almost nailed it. The Cars should have taken him over Todd Rundgren for their tour.
Come on Bas learn the words
Bach cut the hair more modern you'll sure look younger and better.
Me parece mentira verlo a los 2 juntos
H I Dan
Everyone sounded great except Sebastian Bach who sounded like bad karaoke!
