What a beautiful stadium! I wish I was going to be there September 3rd for the opener. Go Aztecs !!! A new stadium in San Diego,wish it could have gotten done 10 years ago when the Chargers wanted a new stadium! Someone please bring the Chargers back to San Diego the most beautiful city in the world! Back where the lightning bolts belong. I know the NFL wants a team back there again!!!
I am from Seattle and was an AFL fan when I was a kid. I followed the Air Coryell Chargers of John Hadl, Gary Garrison, Lance Alworth, Paul Lowe and then Dan Fouts. After 41 years, Seattle lost the Sonics in 2008. However, Seattle now has a fabulous new arena for the new NHL team that is also NBA ready. Maybe the Sonics 2.0 will return someday? Keep the faith. As a "Deep Purple" Washington Husky, I (and we) would welcome SDSU into a surviving "Pac" conference.
If SD wants an MLS team, they have a neat stadium ready to go!
