Yesterday it was the first time I heard this song in the car. My girlfriend and I had a small break from driving since she had a upcoming headache. So we parked the car and in the end we were laying in our car seats with our eyes closed, holding hands listening to this song. This song made me realize how much I love her and how glad I am that I didn't die before meeting her.
i have suffered from depression and drug addiction all my life and most of it was the result of hating myself because of things i did or things that happened to me. i recently got help for my problems and have had a transformational experience. when i hear it i think about meeting my new self and im glad i didnt die before i met the real me.

And then I found out I was pregnant.. and I also found out it's ok to live for someone else for a little while until you get to a place where you can live for yourself again. When I gave birth I hemmoraged and coded.. an amazing team of docters and nurses brought me back to life and I will never forget my daughters face being the first thing I saw.
