So looking at the battery specs it's a 2S pack with less than a third of the same battery capacity as the Avata 2. This looks like it's going to be a cinewhoop style entry for those indoor fly throughs and small beginner flights, and does indicate that it will have a lot less punch. So a good beginner drone, potentially even for kids as well so their parents can have peace of mind. Great to see!
New to FPV Drones. I own the DJI Avata 2 and I enjoy it. Since I have the DJI Avata 2 does that mean I could purchase the HGLRC Talon 2-inch cinewhoop that you mention at the 1:30 mark and I could use my DJI Googles 3 and Remote with it since that specific drone uses the DJI FPV system?
Hi can DJI Neo be launched (without controller) in drone restricted areas? Hover X1 can be launched in drone restricted areas as Hover does not use GPS.
If the material being used for the frame is the same as the one used on the mavic mini series... Then we have a huge durability problem. Those things snap and break easily when flying regular drones, let a lone an fpv drone that flies much faster. But I honestly doubt it'll be a full featured fpv drone considering the controller they're shipping it with

Considering that even DJIs crop of non-FPV drones in the current gen are compatible with goggles, Im sure this will be too. And any DJI drone can fly in acro mode, its a hidden developer/testing flight mode that you can enable with the free Drone-Hacks software.
FPV Capabilities are basically confirmed. Leaked materials show a bundle available with the Motion Controller, and the current beta software for the Goggles 3 have an option for the Neo, which would also suggest it runs on Occusync

The video is probably black and white because it was taken at night in the dark with a camera that can see in near infrared. That way the person with the drone did not know they were being recorded. Note that there are no shadows in the video.
This is annoying I've been saying for a while we need a small drone that's tough and has guards so you are less likely to loose your drone. Soldiers need a solid drone and they need less flimsy radios and googles. It's annoying I could solve all of these but I don't have access to manufacturing😪
We need AR goggles that are as thin as normal shades, 8k resolution, and have on board processing equivalent to a full-size laptop and top-tier graphics card. It is easy to make a wish list of things. The innovation to make a wish list of things is actually in the manufacturing, not in the imagining a wonderful product. A car that can fly itself and is 100% safe whilst using very little fuel and travel as fast as a bullet... I've done it again. Tiny robots that can be sniffed and then go through someone's body and destroy cancer cells.. and again. Nerve cells that can grow to replace the damage caused when someone severs their spinal cord and then cures their paralysis... again Don't feel bad. Everyone has ideas of amazing things. Sadly, it's only amazing people that make them a reality.

The video seems nothing like, or unrelated to, the box imagery (which is almost intriguing). It looks like someone doing customizations to other DJI builds. I wish they went the route of fully removable prop guards with easily replaceable arms and motors. The ones they have seems pointless and there seems like there is so much extra weight with the body. I wish they would do a more stripped down approach with replaceable parts cheap and easy. But I don't know $hi+. This could all be AI generated....... ALLLLLLLL.....................
