Just wondering if you have any interest in Breitling or IWC Watches due to your profession. If so, any future purchases in mind or specific models that speak to you?
Hey Teddy, I'm a mail carrier in Chandler, AZ and just delivered one of your watches to one of my customers a few minutes ago. I thought that was pretty cool after seeing you launch your website and open your store. Congratulations on the success, man.
Very cool story! Thanks for sharing this and for delivering that watch safely to a customer haha. I hope you’re able to finally relax a little after the crazy delivery routes I am sure you have had over the last several weeks with the holidays.
This series of videos is so entertaining and real . Real working people who love watches and are passionate about their work, merge the two and it’s a special thing. Thanks Teddy.
Thanks for the vlog I had a misfortune, I was diagnosed with ovariacn cncer. I also 25reated a channel and am trying to move in that direction, but so far not very successful(
When I got my commercial rating back in the day, my wife and my mother bought me a Gucci chronograph to help me practice "timed turns" as part of my multi-engine IFR training. Still runs great, several batteries and one cleaning, 35-years later!
As an airline pilot myself I’m pretty loyal to Breitling for all it’s significance to the aviation community. Got a Chronomat, Navitimer, Premier and an super ocean heritage. Chronomat is my daily driver
I love these type of videos where someone goes through their watch collection and there are just very personal stories about how/ why they acquired certain time pieces and what they mean to them. Please keep bringing content like this 😊
Teddy B., this is the format I gravitate towards. You got the Diver and Operative episode that I remember. Hodinkee did it with an retired Navy Seal. W.O.E. too. Please keep it coming.
Great episode! Former C-130 navigator here…I always flew with either a G-Shock 5600, Casio Pathfinder, or Citizen Navihawk (the one with a whizwheel on it).
Oh my god he has a Citizen Skyhawk Blue Angels edition. My parents gifted me one for my 16th birthday. It was also my first nice watch. It died sitting in my closet. After 16 years I got it refurbished by Citizen and I fell back in love with it and watches in general. I wore it seeing the Blue Angels for the first time. Something I'd always wanted to do as a kid. I have a deep connection with this one.
Casio G Shock all day long for flying. Try flying an Extra aerobatic airplane (made in Germany) with a luxury watch. You'll bang it up. I've made that mistake.
@@pittss2c601 I have a scarred GA-B2100 which I wear in the workshop. It's really uncomfy and I'm happy when I got it off my wrist. But it can definetly take a hit like anything else!
Teddy. This was perfect timing. Just showed this to my nephew who graduated last week with his pilot’s license from Embry Riddle and he is a huge watch fan. He has a a Tissot and a Rolex submariner given to him by my dad who passed away last year. He is saving up for an Breitling. He loved this episode and has now subscribed to your channel. Keep up the good work.
Enjoyable video and thank you for your service. As a retired Army Infantry officer, I can relate to the diver's watch attraction. When I got promoted to Major, my wife said that I was entitled to a real watch, so she got me a Seiko Transitional Diver (1995). I've retired a long time ago, but its still my day-to-day watch.
What a great presentation. Not only do you present great watches, there is also a story to be told. This format is very enjoyable - I’d love to see more like this. Great job. Thanks.
Thanks Teddy, I’m a retired USAF aviator and have started a modest collection. I have learned a tremendous amount from you and greatly appreciate it! Additionally, congratulations on your new store!
@InsanelyGhostly man I truly appreciate you saying that. I never want to come across as showy. I was even reluctant to start that IG page due to that but a friend convinced me. I'm fortunate to travel and see some neat things and I'm glad I can share it with others.
That is a great collection! Much better than Daniel Craig’s Omega billboard or a any rapper/millionaire buying expensive stuff because they can. This is real and the guy really loves each watch he has
As an airline pilot the only thing I care about on my watch is the day of the week. It’s the only thing I never know and isn’t as readily available anywhere else.
I work shifts as well and it’s such an amazing feature almost none of the higher end brands have. I’m considering a Sinn 104 but my gw5600 is really all I will ever need😛
Producer Michael calling Teddy "Senator Baldassare" because of Teddys choice of clothes lives rent free in my head. Every time I see Teddy I think about that comment... 😂😂😂
Great video, nice to see a real world collector talking about his reasoning on buying each piece. I have the same Studio Underdog and I love it, the dial is stunning with the shadow of the numerals visible on the coloured disc behind a glass layer.
Love this. And yes, Kevin's red straps I think rubbed off on more than a few of us. Great collection. And Teddy - that pistachio dial you've got is superb.

Amazing video! I’m working on my ratings and I went down the rabbit hole as well. Marathon Navigator is my piece when I fly on training flights. But I have an Alpina Startiner, Hamilton “Coop” Khaki Aviation, and of course my Citizens Nighthawk and Promaster Special Edition. Missing my Rolex GMT Master and Speedmaster.

If it has a GMT function that also helps -- especially for those flying internationally -- since time (in pilot weather reports, ATC instructions, etc.) are typically expressed in GMT / UTC (aka "Zulu"-time). E.g., even in the US if you're flying say from New York to Denver and pull up Denver's weather report, all the forecasts will be in GMT.
Part of my response was edited out but the quick set hour hand and date function is a major plus when I cross back and forth over the international dateline
There are a bunch of retired Navy SEALS who run a police training company called GBRS. They have a big RUclips presence and they are really into watches. They are epic and so are their collections. I’d love to see them sit down with Teddy.
A Pilot needs whatever they feel is the most functional wrist instrument for them, and that can vary. Note: huge fan of the IWC BP 43 and it would also be my primary choice but doesn’t mean it’s the most ideal for someone else.
WooHoo!! It was such an absolute pleasure doing this shoot with Teddy! Thank you for the opportunity.
