10 Advantages iPad Air vs. Galaxy Note 10.1! In this new video, I go over 10 advantages each of these tablets has over the other! #apple #samsung #ipadair #galaxynote1012014edition If you enjoyed, feel free to share and +1! ruclips.net/video/HWqPHo0DQiQ/видео.html
Both devices would seem high performing. Some benchmark tests from another video show that the iPad Air performs around twice as fast on a single core than the Note 10.1 on a single too. However, since there are more cores on the Note 10.1, the multi-core performance is about the same on both devices. In practice, the multi core is all that matters to the user. TouchWiz can cause slight lag at times on Samsung devices but newer firmware updates improve on this. Although you can't remove TouchWiz (unless you root the device and install stock Android), you can reduce it's laggy impact with other launchers (e.g. Nova Launcher). The iPad air has a less cluttered, cleaner and snappier interface. In terms of customisation, Android will always beat Apple. Android is aimed at more advanced users who want to make more use out of the tablet than basic multimedia usage. The S-Pan feature in the 10.1 is one of the strongest parts if you can find the benefits to your everyday life (many will, many won't). The resolutions are similar, but 4:9 ratio is better for video and making the most out of the screen real-estate - though the iPad Air gives you better experience in portrait mode. I'm not going to compare the cameras, I honestly have no clue why they bother with them. The price of the tablets would probably be a lot cheaper if they ditched this redundant feature. I mean, you look like a total douche holding a 10" tablet up in the air to take photos. Expandable storage is an important difference. If you want to store many HD movies, TV shows, music etc., the Note 10.1 gives you opportunity to get 80 GB (16 GB model) or 96 GB (32 GB model) - minus a few GB for the OS). The iPad air is limited unless you pay a lot more for the higher capacity ones - up to 64 GB total (the OS may be smaller in size though). However, cloud storage is a workaround if you can find reliable Wi-Fi access when you need it. I went for the Note 10.1 due to the display ratio, expandable storage, S-Pan features and the highly customisable interface/OS. It's difficult to say if one is better than the other because it depends what features you need and what you don't need. If you compare the features or aspects that are the same, they are fairly similar. My comment ended up being a massive comparison, so I don't know if any of you care but just posting my thoughts here.
"Android is aimed at more advanced users who want to make more use out of the tablet than basic multimedia usage." Laughed at this. iPad is good for basic multimedia only? Despite it being much, much smoother to the touch (that's just how iOS is), better at gaming, having a better (not in terms of size) screen? Doing actually work (like finances or some student stuff) is much more enjoyable on an iPad simply thanks to the responsiveness. Now maybe it's not "better" (If you actually compare documents) by your terms, but if you also use OS X you have a confined ecosystem, consisting of iOS and OS X. They both work in near perfect harmony (there are still some things to polish), making editing documents being it presentations, text documents, or tables and charts easy and accessible from all your devices. They have a very good system going for them. With Apple it's not about how much you're willing to pay for the brand or the product, it's how much you're willing to spend on yourself. I used to seriously dislike Apple and prefer Windows/Android. Heck, I still use my Galaxy S3 since I don't need a new phone yet. Although Android got the best of me, It really frustrates me.
You are racist! There are no advanced people and stupid people, everyone are made same. That's what i hate the most, when people say that they are advance if they have some high-end tech toy, and those with cheaper or in your case Apple, are idiots.
gjpyzer Well if someone uses Android and another guy uses Apple or Blackberry or Windows Phone, taht doesn't means that the guy who uses android or Apple, etc is more advance than the others.
you may think iPad is better simply because it has better build quality, but for usage the note 10.1 defeats the iPad. I've seen more people converting to android simply because it's open source and less restricted. Android has proven that It will become the next gen mobile computing platform alongside with the windows era. Soon in 3-5 years time you will see this change. Electronic Engineering graduate.
llew jones how is it much better? its targeted for people who want a user friendly tablet. The processor is made by samsung its self, even the fibre glass screen is made by samsung
Shad0wDarkNess The eco system is however, not their's, which is why I consider so many of those preloaded apps on the note to be "bloatware." As well as the touchwiz UI's overwhelming bad/useless options(the air gestures and smart options) that makes it's performance slow down significantly. The only reason why I would use the Note is the S Pen + Customization. Using different launchers makes a difference, but the combination of out of box UI and the Ecosystem of the iPad Air makes it king(unless another Nexus 10 comes out that trumps it.)
The Galaxy Note 10.1's TouchWiz overlay ruins the entire tablet experience, thereby discounting every advantage it has over the iPad Air. Yes, it really is that bad. If you don't think so, just wait a few month as the lag and jitter gets progressively worse. You will remember my words and regret ever buying it.
Touchwiz isn't great, and it does tend to lag slightly on the Note 10.1 2014. The lag is nowhere near as bad as some people like to make out, though. If Touchwiz performance is an issue, install another launcher, such as Nova or Apex. Problem solved.
txmoney I had my IT director, who is a huge Android proponent, attempt every trick in the book to resolve the performance issues but ultimately threw his hands up in the air and finally admit that TouchWiz is shit.
txmoney I never claimed that Touchwiz wasn't integrated into the OS. However, after installing Apex Launcher my device has zero lag, so the problem IS solved.
***** The lag is most definitely NOT only in the launcher and on power on. The lag exists switching between apps, swiping widget screens, scrolling email list, etc. Your experience is probably the same as I had upon initial ownership but it won't take long for you to admit the truth about TouchWiz. It's a horribly coded overlay and the only way to fix it is to abandon it once and for all. What a mess!
I like my samsung note.. I can take notes and record my lectures (no more binders for me!), send e-mail and watch a youtube video at the same time xD.. If you don't multi task a lot, or take a lot of notes, stick with the Ipad. The galaxy note is more expensive but I rather pay the extra cash just so I can get a 64 gig SD card than to pay more for an I pad air just to get some extra gigs. If I wasn't going to college, and didn't write a lot of notes, I would most likely go for an ipad.. The ipad is more for movie watching and web surfing.. I can do that on my desk top computer though hmm..
After watching tons of videos about these two, think about which application you need most, because what you will find in Apple you won't find it on the Samsung. Same goes what you need in Samsung you won't find it in Apple
Note 10.1 2014 is my choice. A tablet that big needs to do more and Samsung delivers just that. For all the ipad lovers out there that may complain about the higher price of the Note... I guaranty if Apple had an option to add a built in stylus on the ipad for $50 more everyone of you would be in line for days. Just saying.
OMG thank you for the perfect comparison. I just watched the same comparison by PhoneArena and he had *iFan* written all over his face the whole time. Please teach that guy to do a proper review/comparison.
The Real Difference that matters to me which you didnt even mention is the GPS. Note 10.1 can give me my location on a prechached map (Google maps) and I can figure out my directions from that with just the wifi version while Ipad needs the cellular version and an active data connection ( no precachaing possibility).
i switched from a S4 to a iphone 5s and couldnt be happier smaller screen doesnt make a difference at all and the performance and camera and build quality are awesome compared to lagdroid
I bought my 6yr old son an iPad air and we all love it. I bought myself a 2014 note 10.1 and love it. My time is probably spent more with the Samsung but I also don't mind using the iPad. Both great devices in my opinion.
You forgot that, although the Galaxy note is expandable by an SD-card, the iPad Air has the possibility of having 128 GB of memory, out of the box where the Note is limited to a maximum of 80 GB. That's a difference of 48 GB which can make a huge difference to a lot of users.
Note 10.1 2014 FTW for me :) now even ipad air goes cheaper because they are no matched for Note 10.1 2104.16:9 ratio is way better 4:3+higher resolution, louder and clearer speakers, productivity, features and camera etc.FYI,ipad air is just marginally lighter and thinner if you know both tablets measurement. I mean come on,ipad air is like just a bigger iphone with iOS7+ and the only difference are battery life, screen size and camera :) nothing's more. www.gsmarena.com/ipad_air_vs_galaxy_note_101_2014-review-1016.php P.S-For the reviewer, how is the camera sir? Note 10.1 2014 has 8.0 MP(rear) with flash and can capture better images with more details and 1080pFHD with stereo recording while ipad air is nowhere near that capabilities. Poly carbonate is to keep light-weight as it contains more cutting edge stuffs inside :)
Advantages of the Surface over the iPad. *Everything* And the Surface Pro's pen is better then the Galaxy Note's The Surface also has the "Multiple" Accounts like the Galaxy. Plus the Surface has a built in USB port, and using a USB Expander (Adding more USB ports) allows you to use multiple things. It also has a Attachable Keyboard.
***** Spoken like a true 12 year od whining because his mom wont buy him anything else. if it wasn't for Microsoft, Apple would have died years ago. Apple needed Microsoft. And still fucking do. Time to get off mommy's laptop.
***** I read your comment incorrectly the first time, lol. But its far from the iOS. Its a thousand times better. And Notice how the "Multitask" ,what apple calls it, witch is there to switch apps without leaving apps, is the same as the Windows One? And guess what, Windows has been using that FAR before Apple made their iOS7 update. Apple does nothing but steal ideas.
PhoneBuff That's great. But non-geeks unlike you really can't figure out how to use it. My friends and I all don't see how it's better than just using a normal pen and paper.
A desperate attempt to differentiate? Do you know that tablets originally came with stylus? Samsung actually keeps the tradition and enhances the functionality? Watch the video about the S-Pen demo before you said anything. Of course it's not for regular users.
so true friends of mine has the note 10.1 and the other has note3 and since they have it iv never seen them using the spen and we are everyday together and they always have their devices on them they prefer using their finger
It has its usage for Artists, students, designers, etc. I don't use it myself regularly, only sometimes when i learn to write some chinese characters or to draw something. The tool is there for you, and they put thoughts on making it better. Much better than the first gen stylus in old pdas.
awesome video! i am a loyal Apple customer, i own iPad 2 and i was thinking about getting iPad Air but now thinking ''should i consider a change by going with Samsung?''
***** If I had to choose between iPad or Galaxy Note (Tab), I'd choose Galaxy. Maybe because of the Android, at all, but I really like Samsung, even though I don't like that "TouchWiz", which is a little bit horrible to me, it's not handsome, it's ugly, so ... of course, in my opinion. I will be completely honest with you. I can see HOW GOOD iPad, and ALL OF APPLE'S DEVICES are GREAT. I wouldn't choose iPhone 5S instead Nexus 5, if I had to choose between them, but I can't explain why I would choose Nexus 5 instead iPhone 5S. I COMPLETELY KNOW that iPhone 5S even being "inferior" than Nexus 5 about "Hardwares", i5S can be better than N5, because I know HOW OPTIMIZED is iOS 7 for its HARDWARES, but I would choose N5. I don't hate Apple, I really would like to have APPLE'S DEVICES, but I can't explain, I love Google, I love Android, I love how Android is, what Android offers, so. I'm Google. But I CAN SAY, IN ALL WORDS, that APPLE is A BRILLIANT MARK, ever ! You know ? Apple is a "Little Correct" company. Apple doesn't give your OS to anyone, Apple has your OWN factory, doesn't need this. Apple has its OS optimized for its Hardwares, which makes a completely difference in a Samrtphone. You know what I mean ? Apple follows a "Pattern", understanding ? I guess Android is not so fast as iOS, because of the Hardwares, I guess they are not optimized for Android as all Apple's Hardwares are optimized for iOS. Sorry for the text size. Sorry for not understanding some words, because English is not my native language. Thanks for reading ... :D .
MacMike1000 yep it is assumed as king for some minority of mindless hipsters trust me(too subjective and anybody can assume their favorite brands that way). It isn't for human with common sense. :)
I have just looked both the iPad Air and Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 as purchases for my first tablet after many, many years of Windows PC use. For me they were a pretty close run thing with two exceptions. A major downside for me with the whole Apple product line is iTunes. While it works fine for its original intention of managing music, it is clumsy and awkward to use to manage other file types on a portable device. I understand from a friend who recently swapped from an iPad to a Samsung tablet that iTunes is particularly poor at handling eBooks. The deciding factor for me however was a particular feature of the Galaxy Note which is not well known. The "Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 LTE model (SM-P605) provides GSM network voice communications with Micro-SIM card support". Which means it can be used to directly make voice calls WITHOUT using Skype or other VOIP app. It even provides full Bluetooth headset support for making and receiving voice calls including "automatically dial contacts upon voice instruction" (with compatible headset). For me that means a single device costing in the region of £600 that will satisfy all my mobile communication needs and was the deciding factor in making me choose the Galaxy Note over the iPad Air. The two quotes in this comment are from Samsung's technical support which confirmed this feature.
Hi, I want to put cyanogenmod on my S3, problem is I have read from various places that because I am contracted to O2 that if I put cyanogenmod on I will get a region lock, is this true or can I put it on without any issues?
No one mentioned the Galaxy Note's multi-user profile... This is excellent. I can protect my own apps and let my 6 yr old play his own games. On the IPad, (my wife's) we'd log in to our Apple ID, download some free games for him and then the next day had $112.00 in ITunes charges for "game upgrades" that he did (once again, he's 6!) . Google has more free app (In my opinon) and Apple's tend to cost more but may have a wider selection. Especially for children's education. Its close but the Galaxy did it for me for note-taking, sharing/saving files via Micro SD cards, the ability to fun Flash on webistes, and the multi-user profiling.
I bought the Kindle HD for the kids for Christmas, Kindle Free Time gives me all the control I need over their access and usage, as well as access to all the Amazon Prime content.. and the price can't be beat.. 16 Gb, Full HD (720 p), excellent resolution and when you buy with Amex platinum you get a 2 year warranty. All for $ 159...
Well done, balanced review - I'm torn between the iPad and Note Pro 12.2. I do a lot of doodling and drawing along with note taking and even though note has the digitiser screen with tailored built in apps, iPad has a lot more optimised apps that do a similar job - not necessarily better. As for scotch apps, iPad wins big time with Procreate and ArtRage to name two unequaled applications specifically designed for iPad. In a quandary. I know come end of year iPad will be easier for me to sell, which is an advantage.
Androids multytasking is good and all but you're still going to do one of the task on the tablet because even if you can put more apps on the screen, you still aren't going to be able to do all of the things at once! Its a good feature but you still arent going to do all of them at once!
Not at all. I have Ipad and Galaxy Note 10.1 and will phase out the ipad soon. Lots of reasons. -Not way to check your files. No files manager. -There's no way to clean residual cache files as you can't get to them. You have to download and upload them to liberate space. -No extra menory or Sd cards -4:3 screen is not useful. Most apps come just for iphones. So there's usually black areas on both sides. Pics, videos and films does't fit the whole screen either on the Ipad. -You can't choose the pics format in the ipad camera. -And finally it's so expensive that the choice is never worth it. I take the Samsung Note 10.1 over the Ipad any time.
I want a tablet for college. I would prefer android but it doesn't have note shelf or notability. I can't find anywhere if it will sometime soon or if at all.
I am a student and I am currently deciding on whether I should buy the Note 10.1 or the Tab S 10.5? I use it for studying. I currently have a Note 10.1 2012 edition , it was good, and not laggy. But I need a new tablet for my studies. Which one should I pick?
Couldn't disagree more. Samsung has a Better Screen, much better CPU/GPU, Wacom Digitizer/S-Pen. The only reason why the Ipad is faster, is because it only has Apple's very basic features. The better CPU/GPU really shows when using bigger apps and games. Ipad Air is not even close when it comes to true peformance. You can't compare a normal Stylus to the S-Pen. It would like comparing a Crayon to a Drawing Pencil. For school having a S-Pen and Muli-Task is revolutionary. Creating projects, presentations are extremely easy. What takes hours in Office takes minutes on the Galaxy. You can download all of your Text Books (Create notes in the PDF), store all of you notes. You could go college for 4 years and never own or carry a notebook or textbook. If used to its full potential I could see a average college student increasing their GPA by an entire point and while working less. That 2.7 goes to a 3.7. Then you can focus on the most important part of college and that's partying. For Drawing and Art the Galaxy is on a whole different level. If you have a Samsung Note phone you can switch back and forth seamlessly. Pathetic to compare the Ipad that really lacks in new features to one of the best Drawing tablets on the market. When it comes to Work or School the Samsung is the way to go, not even close in my opinion. The new Ipad's are kind of a joke with the lack of features and high price. If you want to get work done, get the Samsung. Of course If you can wait a few more months. I think there are going to affordable Windows 10 Tablets that are going to smoke both Apple and Android.
of course navigating through the ipads UI is smoother than the note 10.1 lol the note 10.1 has a lot more to navigate through. It isnt only navigating through simple apps and folders. It also has to deal with the widgets and the multitasking. Android requires more power than ios because there is more to it. Both are awesome tablets. The note 10.1 is awesome for drawing though.
Good video. You just get so much more for your money with a Galaxy Device. can't wait until more ppl start to realize that. Spen. multiple windows and functions at any time. camera flash, higher res screen. removable storage. accessory compatibility...Jesus ppl, open your eyes. stop buying a logo!!!
Alfin Paul lag? Really? .5 milliseconds of stutter will make me spend more money on a device that doesn't do half of what the note does? Thats idiotic. Guess what? No device is lag free to some extent.
You need to learn to accept that some people have different opinions than you. Galaxy devices may be better for you, but that doesn't mean they're better for everyone else in the world as well.
***** thats the main principle to being an android user. Of course I accept it. I was pointing out the FACT that the Galaxy devices have always offered more than iPads for a better price range. Use whatever but its as if ppl are oblivious to anything without a fruit on the back.
Joel Ebanks That's an opinion, not a fact. If you seriously think that's a fact, than you are very ignorant. And most Android users are oblivious to anything WITH a fruit on the back.
I like how the samsung tablet has expandable storage and multiple accounts on one device. However, ipad has WAY better apps. If apple could just add expandable storage and multiple accounts that would be awesome.
I think the note 10.1 is better, even though it lags, because it has so much to it and so much more that you could do than with the iPad and a little lag shouldn't shouldnt be your main reason for buying the iPad over it. I'm not saying that the iPads bad......I'm just saying that the Note is better ;)
It seems like the galaxy note 10.1 is just copying it's copying the samsung galaxy s4 they should come up with new ideas for a tablet they used maybe more than half of the features from the samsung galaxy s4 and put them on the tablet
Im confused , i need a tablet ; Ipad Air or Galaxy note 10.1 for college during lectures and also for social network and home use . I don't know and Im a little stupid in these things , can you help me please ? Thakns
The passion of i pad is the super sleek software with less crashes better battery life and nice body materials , you normally notice how system is top responsive is when you wake up the device from standby mode , most operating systems they skip some motions or hang for a part of second or touch will not respond on same period , but in ios its different , still crisp sleek and responding without any feel of delaying , this can make out the reason why performance is almost the same despite of ipad hardware is downgraded than the samsung , because they don't need it to save more power to battery life ,its a matter of passion like BMW no turbo no superchargers no aluminum chassis no,no and even less horsepower but its still making the best lap time over the years
The only thing I disagree is "less crashes" Here's my proof: www.designntrend.com/articles/12218/20140329/ios-vs-android-apps-crash-more-often-data-download-updates.htm www.technobuffalo.com/2014/03/27/android-kitkat-crashes-way-less-than-ios-7-1-study-claims/ And let's add insult to an injury: www.phonearena.com/news/What-a-surprise---iOS-8-has-higher-crash-rates-than-iOS-7_id60954
wow i'm totally surprised man , my comment was coming from my personal experience and i never ever notice any crash in my iphone 5s or ipad 4 , few crashes in 4s , and many more in ipone 4 and their all memories are not full , iphone 4 is 32 , 4s is 16 , 5s is 32 , ipad 4 is 128 gb , the only thing i don't like and it would be an issue if apple team will not fix it that the home wifi connectivity issue after the last update , have you noticed the connectivity after last software update?? thank god i didnot update my ipad , i'm suffering with iphone 5s
Great stuff man, both are good but note is much more versatile and gives much much more options. Also I pad is just same old workings, good workings though. I had to switch from ipad to note and can't go back to ipad. One day soon people gonna realize iphone/ipad has fallen behind too much

Sucks you guys have to clarify, but you're very objective good work.
so the Note is better?
Yes. 10.1x better!!!
Both great. Both worthy. Get over yourselves.
enjoyed this...but a review on Lumia 1520 please...

Kennyn1980 Loading a new launcher does not fix the lag problem as TouchWiz is integrated and resident in Android and is resident. Problem NOT solved.

The only advantage the iPad has over the Note 10.1 is, uh, well, dang, I can't think of one.
You must have a pretty bad memory, because there were 10 mentioned in this video.
No I just don't agree with those.
Fair enough.
It didn't say "has over" ... it's basically 10 differences between the two. And advantages over one another.
Battery, more apps, better overall performance.
But.. The Galaxy got the pen.... And I still don't know which tablet I should buy for studying.
I like my samsung note.. I can take notes and record my lectures (no more binders for me!), send e-mail and watch a youtube video at the same time xD.. If I wasn't going to college, and didn't write a lot of notes, I would most likely go for an ipad.. The ipad is more for movie watching and web surfing.. I can do that on my desk top computer though hmm..
Excellent comparison video man!
Great comparison as always! Keep up the great work man
Excellently delivered
Really nice overview, thanks!
Really nicely done review and great to see that you thought through and balanced the equation - especially when comparing prices vs storage.
I like this kind of comparison!
After watching tons of videos about these two, think about which application you need most, because what you will find in Apple you won't find it on the Samsung. Same goes what you need in Samsung you won't find it in Apple
your a great reviewer ...really comprehensive / thorough ...and i like that
subbed !
You are good man, nice flow, lots of info, nice editing...I am in.
iOS for tablets
Android for phones
Best combo ever :)
Just No
I like how you are not biased unlike some other channels
Nice and unbiased, I'm subscribing.
Very helpful. Thanks!
unbiased comparison good job. learnt a lot about both tablets
Excellent review
The most non BIAS dude on net right now. Bravo.
Awesome Video!!
Wonderful video!
Good review& unbiased 👍.
Nice video!!
Wrote this with my note 10.1 20q4,this is the best thing ever made
This guy is awesome! Neither apple nor samsung fan. Keep up!
I bought my 6yr old son an iPad air and we all love it. I bought myself a 2014 note 10.1 and love it. My time is probably spent more with the Samsung but I also don't mind using the iPad.
Both great devices in my opinion.
good review, thanks
You forgot that, although the Galaxy note is expandable by an SD-card, the iPad Air has the possibility of having 128 GB of memory, out of the box where the Note is limited to a maximum of 80 GB. That's a difference of 48 GB which can make a huge difference to a lot of users.
Great video congrats
Note 10.1 2014 FTW for me :) now even ipad air goes cheaper because they are no matched for Note 10.1 2104.16:9 ratio is way better 4:3+higher resolution, louder and clearer speakers, productivity, features and camera etc.FYI,ipad air is just marginally lighter and thinner if you know both tablets measurement. I mean come on,ipad air is like just a bigger iphone with iOS7+ and the only difference are battery life, screen size and camera :) nothing's more.
www.gsmarena.com/ipad_air_vs_galaxy_note_101_2014-review-1016.php
P.S-For the reviewer, how is the camera sir? Note 10.1 2014 has 8.0 MP(rear) with flash and can capture better images with more details and 1080pFHD with stereo recording while ipad air is nowhere near that capabilities. Poly carbonate is to keep light-weight as it contains more cutting edge stuffs inside :)
Advantages of the Surface over the iPad.
*Everything*
And the Surface Pro's pen is better then the Galaxy Note's
The Surface also has the "Multiple" Accounts like the Galaxy.
***** I have both, Btw.... If you only have a iPad, how the fuck can you say its better? Hmm? Moron...
*****
Windows suck when iOS almost has the same OS as it. What a complete joke.
Dude, I agree with you so much. Windows had the same Multitasking in there previous devices which came out way before Apple added it to there OS.
1:11why do you use a picture of an iPad mini?
You don't get it. Who actually uses S Pen? It's just a desperate attempt to differentiate.
I use the S-Pen. Actually used it while outlining this video ;)
What monitor are you using? Looks nice
awesome video! i am a loyal Apple customer, i own iPad 2 and i was thinking about getting iPad Air but now thinking ''should i consider a change by going with Samsung?''
Great Comparison!
great video ;)
Galaxy owns !!
why?
:D .
Own nothing. lol iPad Air still king of tablets.
MacMike1000 I agree !
But it doesn't change my opinion, even though I REALLY LOVE Apple, all my heart
MacMike1000 yep it is assumed as king for some minority of mindless hipsters trust me(too subjective and anybody can assume their favorite brands that way). It isn't for human with common sense. :)
i needed to know can i take calls from i pad
It change my mind from iPad Air to Galaxy 10.1 Pro. Samsung really have good features over Apple.
The two quotes in this comment are from Samsung's technical support which confirmed this feature.
yes itunes is really painful, main reason i would never own an Apple device.
I have iPad Air and love it the most..."
iPad Air is the king of the tablet market.
Hi, I want to put cyanogenmod on my S3, problem is I have read from various places that because I am contracted to O2 that if I put cyanogenmod on I will get a region lock, is this true or can I put it on without any issues?
Hi I have a note 10.1 2014 how do you set up multi user access
Could you compare the new 2014 galaxy note 10.1 with the 2012 edition?
Ha! My galaxy tab 7.0 plus can multitask just like the 10.1 although I cant minimize it
You just helped me make up my mind on the two. I am getting the samsung galaxy 10.1
The note 10.1 sucks ..... Ipad for the win
no...just no
haha. you silly you. offcourse not.
At least I don't have to use iTunes
Samsung fanboys
tactical plunger not really
Where did you get the wallpaper for the iPad?
Gn10.1 any time. The only thing that went wrong with this tablet is how the buttons are positioned. The physical button is a pain
Thank you very much. can you recommend me which one I should buy? I want to buy for my educational purpose. Please give advice!
Can you please put the link so I could buy the same monitor you use for your computer please?
Well done, balanced review - I'm torn between the iPad and Note Pro 12.2. I do a lot of doodling and drawing along with note taking and even though note has the digitiser screen with tailored built in apps, iPad has a lot more optimised apps that do a similar job - not necessarily better. As for scotch apps, iPad wins big time with Procreate and ArtRage to name two unequaled applications specifically designed for iPad. In a quandary. I know come end of year iPad will be easier for me to sell, which is an advantage.
I like the slightly larger and higher resolution screen. Best of all, I like the s-pen feature to take note.
Androids multytasking is good and all but you're still going to do one of the task on the tablet because even if you can put more apps on the screen, you still aren't going to be able to do all of the things at once! Its a good feature but you still arent going to do all of them at once!
Thank you sooooo much
When the Nexus 10 (2) comes out, then I think that will be the best tablet ever
Not at all. I have Ipad and Galaxy Note 10.1 and will phase out the ipad soon. Lots of reasons.
-Not way to check your files. No files manager.
-There's no way to clean residual cache files as you can't get to them. You have to download and upload them to liberate space.
-No extra menory or Sd cards
-4:3 screen is not useful.
Could someone tell me what's the Dell monitor in the background?
Yeah, the problem is these fanboys don't/won't understand the differences. 0.5ms scrolling speed matters more to them than the overall functionality.
Joel Ebanks
That's an opinion, not a fact. If you seriously think that's a fact, than you are very ignorant. And most Android users are oblivious to anything WITH a fruit on the back.
*****
i really think its a fact, android can simply do more, it is a fact. But if you dont need those more things then take a pick.
I have an iPad 4 and um happy with it :D
I like how the samsung tablet has expandable storage and multiple accounts on one device. However, ipad has WAY better apps. If apple could just add expandable storage and multiple accounts that would be awesome.
in my opinion tablets should be 4:3, laptops and desktops 16:10 and smartphones 16:9 no bigger than 4.5 inch
which is faster between both tablet?? iPad Air with A7 64-bit processor or Samsung Quad-Core processor??
I have a Galaxy Note 10.l and it lag all the time but my iPad Air is so fast .
Apple be like Ipad air is the same shit as an ipad 1,2,3 and four...Give us your money :P
In Sydney an Ipad air selling price around $800 USD =_=
I think I would get the note because of the sd card and the muti window what would you guys choose
Admit it, iPad Air is the boss of tablets. But it all come down to personal. Experience
Do a android droid razr m from 2013 drop test and scratch test please
No video In 3 weeks I hope your not dead
I think iPad is just for kids and Galaxy tab 10.1 is for more advanced users.
what is the name of your monitor?
my ipad is samsung galaxy note 10.1
Im confused , i need a tablet ; Ipad Air or Galaxy note 10.1 for college during lectures and also for social network and home use . I don't know and Im a little stupid in these things , can you help me please ? Thakns
once you get used to and figure out the s pen the note 10.1 will be the best option for college.
I have an iPad 2. Good nuff
Watching this on my iPad air
The passion of i pad is the super sleek software with less crashes better battery life and nice body materials , you normally notice how system is top responsive is when you wake up the device from standby mode , most operating systems they skip some motions or hang for a part of second or touch will not respond on same period , but in ios its different , still crisp sleek and responding without any feel of delaying , this can make out the reason why performance is almost the same despite of ipad hardware is downgraded than the samsung , because they don't need it to save more power to battery life ,its a matter of passion like BMW no turbo no superchargers no aluminum chassis no,no and even less horsepower but its still making the best lap time over the years
The only thing I disagree is "less crashes"
Here's my proof:
www.designntrend.com/articles/12218/20140329/ios-vs-android-apps-crash-more-often-data-download-updates.htm
www.technobuffalo.com/2014/03/27/android-kitkat-crashes-way-less-than-ios-7-1-study-claims/
And let's add insult to an injury:
www.phonearena.com/news/What-a-surprise---iOS-8-has-higher-crash-rates-than-iOS-7_id60954
wow i'm totally surprised man , my comment was coming from my personal experience and i never ever notice any crash in my iphone 5s or ipad 4 , few crashes in 4s , and many more in ipone 4 and their all memories are not full , iphone 4 is 32 , 4s is 16 , 5s is 32 , ipad 4 is 128 gb , the only thing i don't like and it would be an issue if apple team will not fix it that the home wifi connectivity issue after the last update , have you noticed the connectivity after last software update?? thank god i didnot update my ipad , i'm suffering with iphone 5s
The next big thing is always a better choice.
Originals and Copy!
Great stuff man, both are good but note is much more versatile and gives much much more options. Also I pad is just same old workings, good workings though. I had to switch from ipad to note and can't go back to ipad. One day soon people gonna realize iphone/ipad has fallen behind too much
i have samsung galaxy s3, and smart tv samsung , i wanted to try an apple thing like an ipad
Awesome but which is better
I've used both and I have the air and I prefer the air
I have a 64 gb iPad air
