I will most certain use this style of coaching when I start not really a "rah-rah" type of guy but not a push over either but just respectful to others and demand respect back
As a coach, when you put a national championship team on the field with a handful of walk-ons and in-state players, you are equivalent to Tom Osborne. Otherwise, having 100 of the top 100 high school players wanting to play on your team (Saban) then you can just call yourself a great recruiter coach. Saban is a HOF coach, but has pick of the litter that Tom did not.

Paterno has 2 sides to his coaching. Before 1987 and after. Look up his record. He never was a threat (cept 94) after 87.

Idk man... Nick Saban's worst margin of defeat was against Tom Osborne.
Now count the academic All Americans along with the wins. Nebraska under Osborne was far and above everyone else.
