@musicisfun Example: Fundamental frequency is usually loudest, highest frequencies the most quiet. What happens when you compress the heck out of your instrument/mix?
Is it possible to get the sound of john fruciantes bedroom lick? It has like a slapping sound when the pick attacks the stringgs can u pls clarify if it can imitate that sound?
So, I checked it and it is possible. You can get quite close at that sound. You need to follow these steps: 1. Take a Stratocaster or a S Type Guitar. Choose the Neck/Middle PU configuration with the selector. 2. The Amp EQ should be like this (depends on the model) Bass on 2 o clock, Middle on 3 o clock and Treble on 12/1 o clock. When you have a Gain and a Mastervolume, crank the gain until the sound breaks a little bit an gets crunched. If you only have a Mastervolume, crank it as well a little bit, but just a little bit. 3. The original amp might be a tube amp, so the sound it naturally compressed. Turn the compressor pedal on a spot between 11 an 1 o clock and try to find a sweet spot. 4. I'm not sure, but there could be a slight reverb in it. I hope this could help you.
Compressors can change your sound, especially models with attack (this one is very simple and only has the one knob).
Well, that’s your opinion.

“and now without…. Oh.. with!” Classic move when dialling in a compressor 😂
Hehe 😝

Hi, is there a sound when the knob turns all the way down?
Yes. The compressor is just not active in that case. It's not like a volume knob.
Hi, is it plastic or metal for the case box?
Its metal.
@@musicisfun okay, cheers
This pedal works well on bass guitar?
It does.

Hi,I just wanted to ask does this pedal squash the sound of the guitar similar to mxr dynacomp? Thanks
Yes, it's supposed to be a clone of the mxr mini. The wiring is very close.
