Hey, I’ve watched a lot of your videos! It was a big surprise to see myself on your page. Thanks Jarrod for submitting. I’m glad you liked my performance. I see some comments that seem worried for me, after hearing my song. I couldn’t have written this song without working through the emotions first. That’s why I write. I also couldn’t perform it nightly if I didn’t still mean it. Mental health is fluid. This isn’t a cry for help, but it is a way for me to share my experience with others. I hope y’all enjoy!

Thanks Jarrod Rhodes for being a Guitargate member & sending this in. I love that you trust me and this community to share things like this. The more we talk about what really going on in our hearts and minds, the more we feel less alone... and the more we help others who are being silent. We're all fighting battles others cannot see. Don't ever forget it. Lots of love my brother.

I'm crying so gd much its interrupting getting this out.
My Friend (also roommate) died by self harm a few months ago. This was his pain. This was his pai. This was his pain. This was his pain .
The weight of this is suffocating.

Imagine pouring your heart out and getting 5 people with their thumbs up and no response 😂
Also quit smoking if you can because that’s self-harm too.
Hope you’re alive. Touch grass more often. Get sober. Talk to friends more often. Help others. Do something active daily. Find something you enjoy and do it as often as life allows. You’ll be aight if you do those things.

I am back to this video today and apparently with more cognitive ability because my initial reply was terrible. I truly apologize; I'm sorry to you.
This is the most unending and often, unbending, reality I have had to experience. Unfortunately, so have painfully many more as well. 🕊
What I should have said was Thank You for your reply and especially for noticing the thumbs but nothing more. I don't know the hearts of where the people were at the moment and that truly may have been their 100%. I'm grateful that anyone noticed so thank you to everyone.
If you're still reading at this point and you are a person who has not experienced the discombobulation of the after effects of a person choosing this choice (SOSL) please (PLEASE) become more educated at the very reliable and quality site that will be at the end of this post.
If you Are Someone who is living with what to do with your life by contemplating choosing to end your mortal time I BEGGGGGG you to also please visit the site for Real help or say something to me (I may not be able to be the best help but I do care- and am Not a medical professional).

If you want to die by your own choosing I PROMISE YOU that it is not the right means to achieve the outcome you desperately need. It isn't. (I do make concessions for medically assisted death with credible doctor involvement).

You Are Wanted. You Belong Where You Want To Be In Life. You Are NOT Worthless❣You Bring To The World Something That Only You Can: You. ❤ Please don't go.

    Schellraiser, 2023.
Two stages. You can't miss. Never heard of Joshua Ray Walker, but I'm drawn to the stage anyway. Several songs in, I'm near the front. Suddenly, the generators fail. The sun has just gone down. Unfazed, JRW steps to the front with an acoustic guitar, takes a seat, and smacks us with this song. Unplugged. We all sit, spontaneously. Some us cry. We applaud. The generators roar back to life. The band (and light) return to the stage. Joshua and his band proceed to melt our faces. Seriously, one of the best sets I've ever seen.
