5 years ago I took the ASVAB 3 times and did not pass with score average between 16-19. Now I’m a husband and a father of 4 beautiful children with not much time at the age of 31. I commit myself studying with all your videos for 2 months studying and listening to you because i couldn’t afford an online tutor😢. I gotta tell you. I'm 31 and completely forgot about the ASVAB somehow when i walked into my recruiters office. When i first started this I would have had no clue on how to do questions like #12. Well here it is 4am the day of my practice test before the real one and i'm pausing questions and solving them before you even speak. Some of which I do in my head! Thank you!!!!
No idea if you still see these, but this helped me like you wouldn’t believe. I got a 61 on the practice ASVAB, went to my local recruiting office and took the PiCAT and got a 75. I failed the verification sadly ended up having to take the ASVAB, and I got an 80!!! Just wanna say thanks! I was up all of last night prepping for it

I wanted to thank you for your videos. I watched about 17 of your arithmetic reasoning videos in the span of a month and a half and also did some practice tests on the side throughout various sites and apps, and it raised my official ASVAB/AFCT scores from a 50 to a 82.

The amount of work that went into making this one was pretty insane, but I did it because people will have the benefit of being forced deal with a bunch of different arithmetic reasoning concepts all at once.
I took the practice test and got a 13. I went to the Marines Recruiters office and I had totally forgot how do any of these equations. Your videos really helped out a lot. I will be returning to the office on September 6 and become a Marine! I appreciate the videos! 🔥

I take my asvab monday morning so ive been watching this video hoping that this will help me out like it did for everyone else. I will give you an update tuesday to let you know how I did.
When you need to find the sum of the item price and the sales tax of the good or total, I find it easier to multiply the good by the sales tax with a “the whole plus the percentage” unit- for example, [Item price: $32; sales tax: 2%- 32 x 1.02]. And that is correct.

for number 10 i crossed bultiplied 10 by 4 and then 800 by one, divided 800 by 40 and got the same answer. i put them into a proportion as i learned in your proportioning video!
Got a 7 on the sample test. Im 22 haven’t taken a test like that in ages or didn’t even know what was going to be on it. I will come back to this comment either weeks or months later to prove it all takes time.
Good luck! Just keep in mind that, to validate the test, they will sometimes randomly roll you into the full version of the test. If that happens, you have an opportunity to score even higher!

I've taken a picat for the airforce and got a AFQT 34 (is that good?), my recruiter hasn't told me anything since..not even a follow up message or appointment. I think she thinks I won't make it and just ghosted me.. I've been studying with ur videos and the asvab book since I took that picat been a week and I'm feeling more confident in taking the picat again. The amount of work that went into making this one was pretty insane, but I did it because people will have the benefit of being forced deal with a bunch of different arithmetic reasoning concepts all at once.
I took the practice test and got a 13. I went to the Marines Recruiters office and I had totally forgot how do any of these equations. Your videos really helped out a lot. I will be returning to the office on September 6 and become a Marine! I appreciate the videos! 🔥

“Gas in California is $5.25…” yup as of this date that is pretty accurate. Aside from that mini joke these tests have been helping me with the arithmetic reasoning since it’s been a while since I did some of these problems.

When you need to find the sum of the item price and the sales tax of the good or total, I find it easier to multiply the good by the sales tax with a “the whole plus the percentage” unit- for example, [Item price: $32; sales tax: 2%- 32 x 1.02]. And that is correct.
You can do it either way, but my method works for harder problems.
Just wanted to say thank you for all these asvab videos especially the math. Following along on areas I was weak at and better reinforcing them through studying repetitively I passed the asvab on my first try and made it to the air force. 😸

for number 10 i crossed bultiplied 10 by 4 and then 800 by one, divided 800 by 40 and got the same answer. i put them into a proportion as i learned in your proportioning video!

Good luck! Just keep in mind that, to validate the test, they will sometimes randomly roll you into the full version of the test. If that happens, you have an opportunity to score even higher!

I've been watching ur videos for a while now. I've taken a picat for the airforce and got a AFQT 34 (is that good?), my recruiter hasn't told me anything since..not even a follow up message or appointment. I think she thinks I won't make it and just ghosted me.. I've been studying with ur videos and the asvab book since I took that picat been a week and I'm feeling more confident in taking the picat again. I'm going to do it in two days I'll message her tomorrow morning to get me set up. i found another way for the question 19, 1h40 is the same as 60min 40 min just divide 60/12-5 and 40/12=3.33 = 3 so 5+3=8 and 12+8=20 $

@@Upside0987 i learned the formulas in the videos and used the Asvab app to apply then and do the exercises myself after learning and practicing the formulas a lot with the videos. To me that worked perfectly.
