Every thing is gorgeous, but a bindhi is really prominent part in south indian wedding bridal make up, please make sure you study the traditions thoroughly before making makeup tutorials so as not to hurt anybody's feelings.
Maybe a white Saree works in Kerala, but it is a jinxed color to be worn for a wedding for the rest of South India. Red, gold or yellow are popular colours used in weddings. And the jewellery...definitely not South Indian.
Hello Ankita, I am a great fan and follower of yours. I am really sorry to say you that this video doesn't work out well with South Indian makeup. Specially wearing Kerala sare, costumes are really un traditional..You looks good but this is not a South indian bridal makeup....Trust me...You have to do lots of homework on it and also wish you to produce a new video of the same. I am a big fan of yours Ankita, but though you have worn a Kerala saree,which malayali /Keralite bride usually wears for their early morning wedding ceremony in temple, usually they change to a very nice colour Kanchipuram silk saree, like many have pointed out, may be because that coloured silk saree and that bindi are missing, I am totally disappointed with this video, it looks really pale, also, though saree is a Kerala saree, the other Southern states, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra and Telangana have their styles, I believe.Also, I think, the ornaments are also distinct,here it doesn't match at all.
I agree that she is really talented in her own way.. but I feels she is the appropriate person for Nykaa to establish this South Indian bridal look. Not justified... Expect the saree I don't find anything that "says she is south Indian bride".
