I present a similar concept as "Worry: signal or noise?"

@barbaraheffernan as someone who is on a continual journey for healing past narc abuse, could you please do a video on being non-reactive to triggers? Meaning how to stop previous abusers from triggering you.

That was really interesting and got so close to a burning question I've had for a long time. Is there a way to overcome the incredibly strong adrenaline/cortisol reaction I have when I need to speak to someone about their behaviour towards me? I shake. And I'm talking really violently! How can I sort out a situation when I look so ridiculous? When my dignity is so completely stripped from me? I'd be so grateful for some advice 💖

I'm avoiding work because I have safety concerns about management and certain individuals I don't trust. Many fellow employees have been hurt on the job due to negligence from the management. How do I suppose to return to work when management is not all on the same page. One bad call of the fire ground can lead to serious injury and possibly ending one's life. I have no trust in my battalion chiefs when making the calls when on a scene of an emergency. I understand my job is dangerous but my top priority is keep myself safe to include fellow team members and assuring everyone goes home. I also applied at my previous department and I received a tentative job offer to return where I do feel safe. Is avoiding work because of negligence from supervisors is the right thing to do or return to work and suck it up till I return to my previous employer?
