I love the ride 17 but they need to fix the weight and breathability in the next update. It shouldnt be heavier or as heavy as the triumph line in my opinion

Curious to see what happens to the Triumph this year!

Is this suitable for a marathon for a rather slow pace, for example pace 7?

Of all the daily trainers you guys have tested this year would you say this was the best?

Possibly yes. Aside from the weight - amazing daily trainer.

Would you recommend a rotation of ride 17 and speed 3? Thanks

So the Ride gets Boost 10 or 12 years later than the Adidas Supernova Glide! 😂 5 later than the Reebok Forever Energy. I love Saucony, but it's messed up to charge premium for a shoe that would play second fiddle to a 10-year-old Adidas model, even today. The running shoe market is getting out of hand with those prices. Get the Reebok Energy 5 instead.

Surely you're joking. Adidas boost is the dinosaur of the running world. It's ages behind their other shoes and other brands. Just look at the NYC marathon. No serious runner would consider ultraboost. And Superblast all the way.

Adidas Boost is made of beads of expanded TPU, same as Powerun+. The Supernova Glide was a daily trainer, so is the Ride. Apples to apples.
Boost is still a very comperitive midsole for daily running, like Powerun+ or Reebok's Energy foam. Cushioned but responsive, doesn't fatigue, mantains its properties at any temperature, and it's very durable.

Power plus has outboosted ultraboost since the new formula of the triumph 20. The ride 17 is just as good. Not sure for Reebok but adidas is playing catch up now. Also $140 isn't premium anymore. Pretty standard in the market
