    Scott, another great video! Once again, you've got me thinking about making my own reeds again. Do you use a rotary tool for beveling the backs of the cane before forming, too?

    Is the tip bevel not too long at that point?

      I'm not entirely sure I understand the question. Are you asking if the tip bevel goes too far back? This can be controlled quite easily with the rotary tool, but I usually see tip bevels that go further back and have a lower angle.
