That "good morninnng" looks like a scene out of a horror movie 😭💖 But only Kev could prep an otherwise unsettling dish in such a wholesome and comforting way
@@ericw6923 I'm sure he got some awesome meat off of it. I see he put up the second part of the video and took it down. Must have gotten some backlash and I was kind of surprised he did it in the first place because of something like that. I've been to Germany twice and they always had something called pork knuckle on the rotisserie in the window. Finally figured out on the second trip that it was just basically a pig's knee on rotisserie and I know it had to be good. It was just a little thumb size pockets of meat surrounded by the most succulent fat. Some of the best stuff I've ever had so I know those piggy cheeks had to be damn good
Persians have a dish called Kaleh Pacheh which is sheep's head. It's very traditional food and many consider a delicacy. People are going to be weak-stomached about this one for sure lol
@@truth4004 haha! Yes, it is customary to kill the animal beforehand. It might be interesting to try to prepare the dish while the animal is still alive! I would never even think of something like that, what an imagination you have!
The thumbnail alone was one of the best I’ve EVER seen!!! Talk about bold cooking. Only you could get me to be so interested in oven baked pig head to leave me wanting more at the end 😂 Very well done 🥰
I miss having an offset smoker. It’s the best way to cook any meat at all. Literally everything was delicious out of that thing and I was so good at using to before I had to move and say goodbye to it.
Well lol, this one surprised me Kevin... I watch a lot of BBQ shows on here... Never seen just a head cook before! But looks very good! I'll be waiting to see the carving and juicy meat under that crispy skin! Well done bro! 👍
I’ve seen my immigrant Albanian Grandfather cook an entire pig before. He butchered and prepped the entire thing by himself on the kitchen floor with a tarp down 😂 🐖🤷🏻♀️
Is there a part 2. Looks great to me. I'm from South Louisiana and this is a typical sort of thing for us. Tip if you want cajun season flavor but you can find it in your area or find it cheap then add a little cayenne pepper to some seasonall....
I imagine living with you, going to take some milk for my coffee in the morning, and seing that head ahah but ngl it look delicious ! i love your recipes
Well, this is something I would never attempt, but with that said.....I enjoyed every minute of this video. It's amazing what this man can do with almost anything. Keep up the good work Kevmo!
This reminds me of the time my mom got a pig head because she wanted to make something called "head cheese". She couldn't do it though and ended up putting the head in a dumpster. I feel bad for the poor soul who opened that dumpster door next 😱
Kev is always surprising me. Pig head is awesome and if you can't do this, I'd recommend a Chinese grocery or shop that sells roast pork. This is so underrated and he described the best parts of the jaw and ears. It will be great, but it's an awesome meal to share when drinking with friends.
Worked at a restaurant and they were opening a new spot testing and recipes. Boss came around with a plate of meat 1 day and told everyone to try it, wouldn't say what it was. Turned out to be pig jowl, best piece of pork I ever had still to this day.
I was shopping at Walmart once and saw a little portable freezer and thought “ooh I betcha there’s some ice cream in there”… boy was I taken aback when I peered in and saw a pig looking back at me. lol
I challenge you sir! To make the greatest yet not ever achieved culinary masterpiece that has eluded great chefs throughout the ages.....a soup sandwich.😉
I love you Kevmo but I had to watch this like I watch scary movies - with my fingers partially over my eyes. There’s a reason sausage factories don’t get a lot of tourists.
I had a co-worker who uses to put cow brains into her scrambled eggs. She was raised on a farm and grew up eating that. I used to eat chitlins aka chitterlings but realized I always felt nausea or had a headache afterwards. So I stopped eating them years ago. But I've never cooked a whole pig head or seen anyone else cook one.
Sorry guys! The upload cut off as The carving started. I will upload that part shortly!

N1 Kev🤣👍
Cliffhanger.
I was wondering what happened
We'll have to see what happens
That "good morninnng" looks like a scene out of a horror movie 😭💖

Imagine coming over to see Kev, ask what's cooking and turn on the oven light only to see a huge pig head staring at you 😂😂
Love his cooking and vids but I'm sorry I'd fake an emergency phone call lol

Weak stomached because deep down they know its murder.

I need part 2! looks great
Great video. First time seeing a whole pig head prepared and cooked. Thanks for sharing.

Crazy how far removed people are from how their food is prepared... Kevmo is a real OG!
Most people probably wouldnt eat meat if they really delved deep.
@@truth4004 What an idiotic statement. How do you think humans got meat before supermarkets and the industrialization of the meat industry?
@@truth4004 idk, people have done it for a long time. But I do wonder why there is a line drawn at preparing and consuming humans in this way
One recipe I’ll never try but still interesting to see.

I married a farm girl. This was a common thing at her parents farm. When you sat down with her dad you ate head cheese.
Amen
Kev, You are a breath of fresh air.

Great Kev! Love seeing people use all parts. Half of the "vegan world" has just died off.

pro tip use a spray bottle for the vinegar and for the rub put it in a flour sifter
😯 great tips 👍
My man is not wearing a dead head beanie for this! 🤣🤣🤣
This shoulda been a damn halloween episode, wtf
That looks so good, Kev! Definitely something we don't see it too often but love it
Every Christmas in Norway we had one of these, most of a lamb and a whole goose. I became a vegan for a while hahaha
Love this guy . One day I see him eating mild mannered hospital food. Next I see, boom pig head 😅
I'd try it out. I'll bet it's awesome.
Man looking your meal in the face, I can’t do it 😂😢
`a la The Christmas Story?
ah yes, i remember when i first got to eat one of these at my aunt's, never had it again but ngl it was yummy

THIS IS AWESOME!!!
“I got a pig head, let’s cook it!” 🤣🤣🤣
The “head” puns though 😂
Says the pig can't bite at that point. Pulls it out the oven and the pig has somehow gone from a closed mouth to an open mouth
