    Good for you on the AM contact. I’ve never had a QSO on AM.

      Thanks! I think I have one other AM contact, and that was on 40 meters. It was a short QSO due to splatter from adjacent SSB signals.

    Wow so nice to hear 10/11 meters active again on a regular basis since the
    conditions are getting better and better SSN wise. Last time I remember this was maybe the early 2000s! Congrats on your first 10m contact! Even 29 MHz

    Very good. I don't think I've made a 10 Meter AM QSO myself. I've only made a handful on other bands.

    There. Is some really awesome audio on AM 40 and 80meter ham band . I'd love to have a vintage tube radio .
    But I don't know restoration and upkeep

      Same here, that's why I have transitioned from older analog radios to newer digital radios, for the most part.

    What is the portions thos i see 28.3-28.5ssb then it allows all the way to 29mhz for a general. But where does ssb end an am begin?

    it actually sound really good, much better than often over modulated CB band. AG6JU
